  1. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Toys coming from Bandai: http://www.poeghostal.com/2010/06/thundercats-toys-coming-from-bandai.html It looks like it's going to look more like a Japanese property.
  2. I know this is already being stalked about in anoother thread but wanted to start its own. Did anybody here get one of these yet? I want to get one but not sure so I am waiting for peoples opinions.
  3. https://www.startrek.com/news/playmates-toys-boldly-returns-to-the-star-trek-universe
  4. what is your favorite super robot and mine is combattler v
  5. I was just wondering will bandai make voltes v? coz they already did combattler why not make voltes v?
  6. Is there a thread for this line of toys yet? They seem to offer about 70% of enjoyment of what you'd get in a 1/6 scale hot toys/enterbay release in at about 33% the price..and they take up less space. Any fans of this line here? I don't really (or haven't yet) collect figurines/figma (whatever poseable high quality figures are called) but I recently picked up my first one...the Dark Knight Trilogy Batman...for all of around $60. Totally worth it. I'm tempted to pick up the Joker and Cat Woman from the same line....Shame they don't include an unmasked face for Catwoman and they totally animesized her umm boobies but those two look like winners too. They've also got the robocop license it seems and will release both classic robocop (1987) and the new one from the upcoming movie. I hope they get lots more licenses because I really like this scale (taller than a 1/60 vf-1, shorter than a 1/48 vf-1) and poseability. The only bad thing about I can say about the one i have is like eveything in this format...you can still see the joints if you are looking closely...they aren't covered by clothes like in the hot toys 1/6 scale figures. other licenses seem to be mostly from video games (which is cool), like their own games as well as stuff like street fighter ( i may pick up a ryu and some more) i do wish they'd make accessories, vechicles and playsets for this line though (square enix....can you say batpod!!?)
  7. EDIT: Don't know why i didn't look in the Hall of Super Topics for the old "Display Your Collection" thread, but i just found it and thought i'd link it finally: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18562&hl Enjoy more collection pics!! ORIGINAL POST: I did some searching for a thread dedicated to just showing off entire Macross collections and displays and there were only a few threads with individuals posting only their collection. Or there were collection pics hidden in other threads about display cases or toy pictures. I love to see how people display their toys so here's a new thread where everyone can participate to share their collections. This is a new dedicated thread for people to show off ONLY pictures of their Macross Collection Displays. You can post pictures of how you display them whether it's in a cabinet, glass displays, book cases, whole rooms, etc. NO pictures of individual toys since there is already a thread for that. Lets see all our Macross collections in 1 place! I'll start by showing off a section of my rearranged Macross toys in my custom detolf cabinet displays. I'm still working on rearranging the rest of the room so i'll post those later. 1/48 displays I also recently purchased mini acrylic display signs so i can label my collection for fun. need to make them for the rest of my displays and i'll post them later. This was my old display room circa summer 2009, but i'll post updated pics soon

  10. It seems the 1/72 Vf-1J and VF-1A fighters are showing "in stock" on the Calibre Wings website....has anyone received them? I placed an order via Flying Mule due to their 20% PO discount but they seem to always get their stuff last.... I am glad that I picked up the VF-1S and M&M VF-1J set, they are all excellent display pieces.....wonder if this is the end of the road for canon VF-1's from Calibre Wings?.....I am taking a pass at the original paint schemes they are releasing...
  11. Found out about this project on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/Ramentoy/?ti=as
  12. Hello everyone, I am looking for some recommendations as I read in some fb groups/threads on tip and tricks to collect previous releases cheaper. I recently got into hobby and been rigorously been buying up DX Chogokin/Arcadia/Yamato using the following sites Buyee (Yahoo JP & Mecari), Amiami, Ebaye, and Mandarke. I was wondering if there are places I can individually shop in local jp stores or other places I can keep an eye out for hard to find Valkyries. I would really appreciate if you the people here can share your experience and thanks in advance!
  13. Hey guys, I just got into this hobby and looking for about 20+ display stands. I know the ones people recommend yeti or flightpose but they are both sold out (Yeti seems to be discontinued) so I was wondering if you guys have any other recommendation? I don't want to use the standard display that comes with the dx chogokin because I read that they leave mark or scratch the toy. Thanks in advance!

  15. Wasn't sure if I ought to start a new thread or put this in here: Variable Motorcycles Thread Anyway, here is the info so far on the upcoming transforming Garland toy by Yamato: * 1/15 scale * Release is scheduled for June * Price will be 17,640 * Transformation will involve magnets * A gun and poseable Shogo rider figure will be included * It's damn cool. My sources are mainly the internet and the 1/60 VF-0S thread in the toy section, I have just put it all in one thread. However, I must say that I have read conflicting information elsewhere that the price would be 16,800 and will arrive in May... But I may have been hallucinating. Here are some pics from other threads (I'm re-attaching them 'cos I dunno how to just display them from the other thread, it tells me some crap about dynamic thingymajigs), plus some which I added just for comparison:
  16. http://hlj.com/product/KZC10002 http://www.collectiondx.com/news_item/81016/kitz_concept_super_deformed_robotech_vf1s_roy_fokker Saw the HLJ link on my Facebook page, and brief researching turned up the CollectionDX link. It's branded as a Robotech toy, but all the same. I dunno if it already has a dedicated topic, but in case it doesn't, I figured I'd share for those who are interested. MSRP of 8800 JPY.
  17. Out of nowhere Bandai is bringing a new action figure. I couldn’t find a thread for the show, so I figured I’d start one in case other items appear like new kits other action figures or just a rerelease of the series.
  18. Possible group buy/interest list, Capt needs 30 kits for either the Auroran or Sparta. Spartas = 20 Auroran = 19 Both = 14 1. Major Focker - Spartas 2. Convectuoso - Auroran and Spartas 3. 19. So, I didn't see any threads regarding these figures, but I know that there used to be one in the past, so I thought I'd reinstate a new one in response to this: http://www.hlj.com/product/ALT20805 Alter's new 1/60 M9 Gernsback. Alter made a previous 1/60 Arbalest, and this time, their taking a shot at the M9. I missed my chance at picking up the arbalest (and its sold out pretty much everywhere now), so getting this is a no brainer for me. Looks REALLY cool, but then again, its about an inch shorter than a 1/60 VF-1 and nearly 2800 yen more expensive, so your mileage may vary. I think its a great piece of work though. What do you guys think?
