  10. Walt Disney Pictures announced that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is in the works. Johnny Depp has already confirmed his return as Captain Jack Sparrow; how much he'll earn for this is currently unknown. Geoffrey Rush will also reprise his role as Captain Hector Barbossa. For this project, Disney hands the director's chair to Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, the duo behind the Academy Award nominated film Kon-Tiki.   13. Frozen is Disney's big Holiday film for 2013, loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen.   14. Coming to theaters on June 17, 2016 is Finding Dory, the sequel to Disney/Pixar's critically acclaimed 2003 film Finding Nemo. Andrew Stanton (A Bug's Life, WALL-E) returns to direct this film after learning his mistake of doing John Carter. Ellen DeGeneres (The Ellen DeGeneres Show, sometimes host of the Academy Awards) and Albert Brooks (Bernie Rose in Drive, various voices in The Simpsons) reprise their roles as Dory and Marlin, respectively.   15. Zootopia has been under our radar for months, mostly because the trailers weren't that impressive. However, even before its official U.S. release on March 4, the film is already receiving rave reviews.   16. Coming to theaters on April 15, 2016 is Disney's live-action adaptation of their beloved animated classic The Jungle Book, directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man 1-2, Cowboys & Aliens).   17. Coming June 19, 2015 is Inside Out, the newest Pixar film directed by Pete Docter (Monsters Inc., Up). The film takes a look at the emotions that control people. Official Site
  18. Last announcement of the night. Those at SDCC 2012 were treated to test footage of the concept they wanted to do. Hopefully someone or Marvel will post the concept footage.
  19. Coming to theaters on November 25 is The Good Dinosaur, which may be Pixar's most difficult project. Originally slated for release in 2014, the film experienced production problems toward the third act to a point where the whole film had to be scrubbed and the entire voice cast had to be changed after original director Bob Peterson left the project. Peter Sohn (Partly Cloudy) stepped in to finish the film. And here's a first look at the final product. Official Site
