  1. I hear ya! I have my resin straight-up!

Quick little update: Kits are being bagged, then bubble wrapped & boxed as we speak; vac forming masters for the canopies are done and on their way to be produced. Will start the destructions on Monday, and should have them finished and posted by Thursday next week. 11 slots still open...

Oh, and happy belated CANADA day to all the Canuckians, and a happy preemptive Independence day to everyone south of the border!! :D

Another great model Capt.!!! Have you gotten these shipped???

    Cheers & Semper Fi-Jason

  2. I know in the series Fokker was part of a flying circuis when he was a kid. I think there was a flashback that showed this aircraft.

I Have a kit and would like to finish as Fokkers. Does anyone have pics of the aircraft???

    Cheers & Semper Fi-Jason

  3. I am just drooling over this. I sent you an email shortly after I joined the forum asking when you would make another run of the kit. I would love to have one!!! It does not bother me if it is a V2. I would love to see this with Capt's level of detail. Please make another!!!! and put me on the list for one.

  4. I just got my kit from the LHS here in Okinawa. And i must say this thing is huge!! the detail is very crisp and an added bonus for a HASG kit NO SEEM LINE IN THE CANOPY!!!!

I will not be unbagging this bad boy anytime soon as i have 5 different kits on the bench all in diferent stages of completion.

  5. Thats because the hind rotor system was overdesigned. They tested it on a fully loaded MI-8 Hip during development. the rotor for the hind could structurally support 2 hinds with no problems. Also the Hind is a troop trasport/attack Helo so it does need a certain amount of extra lift and power.

I agree with HWR the reason the Hind fuselage being so large is its ability to be a transport. Also, looking at the cobra, huey & super stallion all panels on the belly are antenna or mechanical access panels. THe belly of aircraft are always built strong. the gearbox, rotor system & motors put alot of torque, stress on the airframe.

  6. I'm honestly scared to start this one, and it's been sitting behind me now in the box for the last couple of days. Could you guys make me some recommendations as to how to get started, from sprue to finished model? I'm probably at about Graham's level of experience, but there are several things that I'd like to get right on this model since so much isn't done for us.

But I want this to be done right, because to do otherwise would be a disservice to Macross.

Oh, I'm also an engineer, so if you could tell me how to work this in numerical order (flowchart!) it would be stellar :)

Dio... just sit back and wait on Mr.Cheng. You will get your Flowchart & much more. look up some of his Step by Step builds.

    Good Luck
