Nice, very nice. . .
Another reason why I wish you were working for Yamato, Bandai or Takara. . .
Just one thing it needs GUNS (j/k
) -
I'm way ahead of you guy on this I plan on being ther both Sat+Sun. . .
Trust me, I'm on the hunt for anything macross related. . .
Also I've got a new digital camera to post anything interesting. . .
This will be my last one before I move to San Diego. . .
It feels kind of odd having to leave Japan after being here 11 years. . .

-
I don't get why people are having so many problems with the paint chipping. . .
Mine are just fine and I have all the Binaltechs to date. . .
-
Well there goes the sick joke theory. . .
Just checked the link. . .
That has to be one of the most unfathomable blunders made by mortal man. . .
WHY, WHY, WHY, and again,WHY!!!!!
-
Just when everyone gets the new one, they will come out with the PS3.
I know! Don't you just hate when they do that?!
that's ok... if its any good I'll wait for the PSThree
I hear ya guys,
but I have to free up the shelf space. . .

And after the Tokyo Game show this weekend I want to be prepared

-
Not yet but give a couple months after I get settled in San Diego. . .
The DARK one will be back on the roads in Burnout 3

-
Congratulations Kev!!!
I know the feeling I have 3 kids of my own (2 girls, 1 boy). . .
Bit of advice, move the goods now before the crawling starts. . .
They start out beautiful, then become handfulls overnight. . .
But I wouldn't trade mine in for all the gold in the world. . .
They make good go-fers. . .lol

-
Time to turn in the two old US ones I have at Gamestop and get the sleeker unit. . .

But I will never hand over my Japanese launch PS2 NEVER!!!!!
She's still in mint condition and running like a champ!!!

-
I'm with increasing the scale. . .
If a modeler can do it with a garage kit, so can a toy company. . .
Sure there maybe extra cost but it will be worth it in the end. . .

Think about it a valk that gets the nod from all sides. . .
-
You know all those sound like good kits but I an only interrested in three. . .
1)VF-1D
2)Stampede
3)Thunder Hammers
Why?
Just sheer brute force!!!!

Also I think ewilen made a excellent suggestion. . .

Break out the 1/48 VF-4 Yamato!!!!!!!!!
You could make a very pretty penny off those. . . .

-
I love it!!!!
Sure it has some kiddie humor (like the pop rocks and soda bit
)But it is like one of the last few shows I can find on tv today that's not trying to be a public service message. . .
Just blatant ass kicking from start to finish!!!
I also love Coop's cocky attitude about all situations no matter what!!!!
He has that thing wired for whatever but then the unthinkable happens

!!!!!! -
So I've been talking to the wife alot lately.
Sue me. . .

-
Yokosuka, Japan
but soon to San Diego CA.
-
Thanks for the update Renato I'll be back in Japan on Sat and plan on cleaning house at all my usual haunts

I SHALL SHOW NO MERCY!!!
PREPARE TO BE PILAGED AND HAVE YOUR SHELVES TORN ASUNDER!!!!

"VICTROY OR DEATH!!!"

How about some pics of those VF's in fighter mode???

And, let's put that SDF-1 in cruser mode. . .
If they look like crap, then I'm beating feet like Graham

-

2) G.I. Joe (3/34) till about '88
3) M.A.S.K 1st & racing series

It's like this, I have my wife picking up the toys for me since I'm here in San Diego now.

I've got my son watching them and he's usually a good judge if Daddy will like it or not. . .

Still waiting for his reply. . .
-
Ok, what is the beef?
We all have to realize that we have lost our insider.

Sure he's the man on the boards but he can't get the goods like he used to.
Hell, I can see it in his posts.
When he was in it was sweet but now, things have changed without his/our input
Yamato is not getting the ideas from fans it used to and it might hurt them in the long run.
Sure the product may not be up to everyone's liking but it is still being produced.
Think about it, if the VF-0 wasn't being made some of us here would be pissed.
(There are a few of us here waiting for the VF-4 and VF-2ss
)If it does hit the streets as is, I'm sure the brainiacs here would find a way to fix it.
Me, I like just getting the damn things It's my hobby.
If they make something I don't want or like it stays at the store.
-Has the quality gone south?
IMHO, not really. It did get better with the 1/48, but change the product and you have new bugs to fix.
-If they switch to a bigger scale would it get better?
That is a stronger possiblity. But the time on the drawing board would take longer.
And the price would go up.
-Is it possible they have too much on their plate due to fan requests?
Hell yeah!! Again as we all know they are not Bandai or whoever, so they need to take it a step at a time for now. (Even after merging with Konami.) Get a few more notches on the belt then go for the gusto.
-
Ok so what is the concrete no bull release date for these?
Did anyone ask at MW Con?
-

A clear bodied 1/48. . . .
SWEET I'm in!!!!!!!!
And that would STAY MISB C10 fresh no doubt. . .

-
Hell just do some shoping around, I get my 1/48s for about $95.00 each.
Let's see. . .
Hikaru- VF-1A+S= 2
Roy- VF-1S= 1
Max- VF-1A= 1
Low Vis VF-1A= 2
Total= $570
VF-1J FP sets $145 each
Hikaru VF-1J(FP)= 1
Max VF-1J(FP)= 1
Millia VF-1J(FP)= 1
Total= $435
And I have about 9 FP Kits at about $55 each
Total= $495
Bottomline total $1560

If you look at the big picture, of what could've been (the old 1/55s) that's cheap. . .

Now if we go in to 1/60s
I lose count (at least one of each)

At about $55 each. . .
(I wish I were home to see them)
But you have to remember I picked them up first hand at TRU Japan. . .
Just shop around, and the prices will drop. . .
Hell, I used to sell here on MW at TRU Japan prices. . .

-
You lucked out man BIG TIME!!!!!
And by the way Pogoman nice collection.
Are all those toys yours, including the "last" pic???
If it is playtime has got to be the best!!!!

-
All these pics are making me homesick. . .

I'm currently stuck in San Diego. . .

I miss Japan, I miss my 1/48s. . .

Almost more than I miss the wife. . .

-
I don't know about anyone else but I think, this looks to be one of the truly badass toylines to hit the streets!!!
Its got a little of everything in it. . .
Highly posable figs- Check. . .
Cool designs- Check. . .
Vehicles that become battle armour- Check. . .
Constant upgrades- Check. . .
Semi-interchangible weapons- Check. . .
And they look quite durable too. . .
So yeah I'm in . . .

I'll see what I can do. . .
I've been wanting a new Macross game for a while. . .
Especially with the latest planes (VF-19, 21, 22, 4, etc. . .)
It could be a two disk set. . .
Pick your color scheme, weapons, wing men, edit names, squad names, emblem/patch, location/time(Zero, Plus, Seven, OVAs). . .
Yeah it sounds like SW Battlefront but it wouild be nice. . .
Hell I would like pilot the enemy mecha right about now. . .
(you know pick a side and join the fight)
It seems nobody has touched on that yet. . .
It might be sweet to pilot Zentradi power armour, battlepods, fighters etc. . .
You know go up against the "Aces" Roy, Max, Hikaru. . .
Attack the SDF-1, and crush the puny protoculture microns. . .
Or be won over by the song and fight for "Da'Cultcha". . .
WOAH, I better stay on topic . . .
But sure I will get any info I can. . .
Maybe I will throw "Macrossworld Reporter" in there and see if that helps. . .
