  1. I wouldn't be so quick to praise it yet. Shoulders in fighter are better cause of the larger shoulder caps, so it might be masking the problem. The hip section does indeed seem to hold more closely to the fuselage, but really, so does the yf-19, until it gets loose after a few transformations. And I'm noticing a hideous wing-root problem in fighter mode, as well as the knee caps not locking into place either. Possibly mistransformations, but we'll have to see.

One part that is definitely better is the panels that extend up to the head in fighter mode (in front of the shield). The coverage there is much better, so it doesnt leave a giant hole in your fighter.

  2. While they did have a grav gun to stop projectile attacks, you might still have an issue with explosives detonated outside that range, and I think they are still limited by what speed and size of projectile is fired. I highly doubt that the exosuit would have been able to block the bullet from the 50 cal.

  3. Just a dang minute here, I said that the plastic had degraded and all the joints were simply falling apart. So because I throw away a broken toy that I bought over 5 years ago, I am a "incredibly spoiled-rotten, irresponsible and thoughtless person"? Its none of your business what I do with my property. If I want to buy several thousand dollars worth of Yamato VF's and then make a huge bonfire with them, that's my business.

Don't cry or call others names because you didn't get a free broken toy.

While I would agree with you for the most part, it depends on how you're burning those Yammies. If you're flaunting it like those douches who break game consoles in front of a pre-release lineup, then you're just being an idiot. Sure, the console was paid for fairly, but the malevolent intention was to annoy others. However, to have a private bonfire purely for self benefit would only benefit others, as long as you weren't driving up demand to the point that others had to pay a higher average market price.

  4. Is it safe to put the armored on the stand in Battroid mode ?

The attachment looks so weak on such a big and heavy toy that im afraid it will snap or detach and the whole thing comes crashing down.

It should have come with some sort of support for the backback when its on the stand.

The collectionDX review above showed the armored battroid on the stand. Seemed okay, although the legs kept flopping down, and couldnt maintain an A stance.

They mentioned the crotch lock being stiffer too, but I think the lock design hasn't changed since the initial release; they just got luckier this time with QC.

  5. LOL Vifam7 was right about the family mart colors since the latest photo clearly shows Family Mart along the cockpit.

I'm really liking the look of the YF-19. i don't have any 1/100 valks so I don't think i'll pick one up. Hope it's successful enough they make a 1/60 version.

Oh wow. You're right. I thought he was just kidding too.

  6. If say Yamato released a no-gullet YF-19, but it used landing gear detachable plugs... That would still be PT, wouldn't it? It would probably also be the preferable option in the future too. If that was the case, then a 1/60 Bandai VF-19 would probably do better taking that route, and still claim a PT title.

  7. That Kai looks pretty good. Looks like it's still missing some details though. The wings are also larger and further out than I thought they'd be... Doesn't the Kai have its wingspan reduced relative to the yf-19?

Is that parts picture showing the partsforming pieces that fill in the carved thighs and the lower leg slot (that the arms take up in fighter mode)?
