I've got a translated script that'll turn into the movie script after retooling, I've also got the remastered footage of the movie as well.....but once this movie is done I think I want to take a REALLY long break.

One of the Big Zam vajra will commandeer it and used it to kidnap Ranka, transform into Battroid and climbed the highest tower on Island-1 while Alto and co chase it in EX-gear.

There is one flaw in your theory:

the Big Zam vajra are too darn big to fit!

Despite the colors, as much as I would like to see a VF-1 save the day, it is probably a *just* a statue, nothing more.

I'm glad all these Zent topics have been popping up, because I actually had a burning question that fits in here.

What cellular level do macronized Zentradi exist at? Are their cells actually enlarged to 5x-6x their usual size (albeit still too small for the naked eye to see), or are macronization pods like Photoshop where it guesses at the appropriate filler "pixels" and simply adds them in? Or rather, since their are in their natural state when macronized, what happens to their cells when micronized? Do their cells simply shrink to 2 µm (conjectural number based on typical cell size) or, again with the Photoshop analogy, is information removed (which, in an extreme example, might explain Klan )?

EDIT: Perhaps the Photoshop analogy might not work. We don't get distorted Zents after a few cycles of macronization...

About that-- given how Zentran macronize, since their brain is then 5x larger, shouldn't they be SMARTER than micronians, too? o_O

I don't know how anyone can become imune to reality being eaten up around them. Unless maybe they all grow fold drives and treknobabble their way out.

In case you forgot, they are already internally fold-capable o_O

But I think reality being consumed around them (or consuming a chunk of them) is something you can't grow immune to.

Ummm, I HAVE Media Player Classic and it's still choppy. Plus the slower the system, the worse it is, no matter what the player or the codec is. That's my point. We don't all have top of the line computes like some of you. There's no reason to even use this MKV format when AVI and MP4 works perfectly fine.

I hate MKV.

I use a slower PC at work and it ran sooo slow, last week when GG subbed ep 18, I had to keep rewinding so that the subs would play in time to the audio! After like 10-15s the subs would get out of sync, so I kept having to stop and start OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!

Eff this MKV bs.

I will have a better theory about ep 19 later today.

Onii-chan is also used in a more generic sense of a "big brother" type. Which is how I see Ranka using the term. Aniki is often used the same way, but definitely not as an "affectionate" form.

In translation you would end up with enough fabric to make approximately 1600 to 1700 shirts. Doing the artwork is a snap, the price per yard is entirely different story. Its currently over $2.50 a yard so do the math. Anyways yeah they're brother and sister. Like it says in the Macross F wikipedia entry: Brera cares a lot for Ranka's wellbeing though he doesn't really know why (even without orders).

I am surprised it has taken Ranka this long to go.. "hey, wait, I recognize him. I know him." But Ranka isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, if you know what I'm saying.

While it is obvious that Ranka has severe PTSD, a memory like "my brother is ____" ought to be a little bit stronger, but then again, she was like what, 6, when Ozma took her in.

I want to know more about Ozma's motivations for taking her in-- what was his connection to the 117th?

More importantly, I reckon they have Brera on some kind of cybernetic memory inhibitor, but as we all know, the brain will forge new paths to old data... I wonder at what point Brera will remember who he is relative to Ranka, and at what point it will stop being Grace & Co's carrot to dangle in front of him. For storytelling purposes I would bet that it is highly likely that Brera

will remember fully, likely in the heat of battle in the next few episodes (only 7 left!!

), and sacrifice himself (as his 'redemption') or something so that Ranka can escape, and she'll have her "BROTHER DON'T DIE!!!" moment yet again, thereby igniting some kind of serious reaction from Ranka...

Why would it just be a prop? It's either a sculpture or a de-engined, decomissioned fighter... there's a decomissioned fighter of some kind on display at a park by my house, clearly, it has no engines but what the hell.

It'd be cool if that VF-1 could be fired up and an interesting plot twist.
