Huh? When did I say it was a rehash of the first series? I'm just saying it should have lead up to it better. I like originality, but this series just did not work for me at all. And I really did not see anything to do with Protoculture except for one scene where they mentioned it. As for checking this site, actually, I forgot it even existed until Saturday. Also, there is a good reason no one criticizes floating objects in the original series when they are in space...WHEN THEY ARE IN SPACE. IN SPACE Anyway, it is not Sara's powers that I am talking about, it is the whole birdman thing. It would have been much better left as a myth, not reality. I'm so sorry I did not like Zero, I really am. After all, if you like it, then obviously everyone must like it.

It IS Aries? I thought the subs botched that up because it sure sounded like Arisu to me, which would translate to Alice. We can argue on this for hours though. Anyway, what was I expecting? Something Macross! Not some stupid supernatural crap. I love supernatural stories, but it does not belong in the Macross world. This would have made a better Arjuna story. Not to mention I couldn't help but think of the girl from RahXephon every time I saw Mao. Anyway, like I said, visually and musically, this was one hot series. Not as good as Gankutsuou in that department, but certain up there as one of the best. Unfortunately, even the visuals cannot save this series from its dumb plot, if you can call it that. From pretty worthless characters to a bad plot killed the whole thing for me. I understand you need to make new characters, but no one was allowed to develop enough. Shinn had devloped somewhat, but not enough to make me care about him when he disappeared. Same went for Sara. And then those two villian dudes were bland and I found myself cheering when Alice/Aries died. I constantly kept looking at the running time of each episode to see how long it had left to go because I was bored. I usually do not compare things, but comparing the Mayan themes used in this and RahXephon, RahXephon just totally creams Zero in everything but animation. Enough ranting though.

Well I finally got to see all 5 episodes, and it was very disappointing. This series should not have been allowed to be called Macross, nor have Roy in it. It would have worked out better as some other series, maybe, but not as a Macross series. I am very pissed and it was definitely not worth waiting 2 years for the entire thing to be out. The ending was crap, it did not show any signs of leading up to the arrival of the Zentran, or even about the completion of the Macross itself. Not to mention Alice got a fatal injury off screen, which made no sense. I for one think Kawamori should just leave Macross alone as it is. Heck, in some ways, I think the original series should have stayed the only series. For me, Macross Zero gets: Visually, 5/5 Soundtrack, 5/5 Plot, 2/5 Characters, 1/5

I'll buy it when Ep4 comes out. I was rather disappointed with ep2, and don't need to see Ep3 right now like I felt when Ep2 was going to come out. I would buy the official ones, but for some reason, M is one of those few series I need subs for. Besides, I'm too busy spending all my money on the Kamen Rider Ryuki and 555 R2s.

I don't care about the subs treatment for errors because all anime dvds have mistranslated subs, no matter what company it is from. Is it true about the video problems on one of the eps on disc 4?

I won't be able to afford this until next year. I have too many things to get, so right now, this, Sailor Moon R, and Indiana Jones are on my list for next year's stuff to buy.

Technically STARS and the Police Dept were all part of Umbrella since Chief Irons was working for them, they just didn't know it.

Oh I can't wait. The trailer for this movie was funny as hell. Infact, if things go as good as the last one, I will forget all about the RE3:Nemesis game since that game wasn't that great, especially in the story dept. I don't mind Alice having powers, after all, Wesker got them, plus she had been experimented on, so I'm not surprised. Plus it will be nice to see someone have a fighting chance against the Nemesis. Besides, we should wait and see how they work with them before we decide on her having powers.

Well... you wouldn't have to worry about that, as the movies are not canon, specially considering Jill will be a simple police officer, not a STARS member. Well, even if 2 isn't canon, I consider the first one to be part of the time line since it does take place months before hand.

I can't wait for RE2. The first movie was my 2nd top fav movie for 2002. It was so great, and kicked serious ass. I eagerly await the next one, but I don't know why they have to put Jill and Carlos in it. Hopefully they won't have a big part since they never ran into anyone during the Nemesis game. Either way, this movie is going to kick even more ass.

No, I own a surround sound system now, and will have both Extended dvds, so I'm not wasting any money to go to a theater to see all 3 movies in one shot. I can't wait to see Return of the King on opening day though. This movie is going to be cool. So, the RotK regular version is going to be 3:30 hrs long?

Wow, thats cool, but last time I tried painting a TF, my original Galvatron, it came out suckier than suck, and I ruined him. I will never paint another figure just to make him look show accurate. I have one Unicron unopened, and a second one opened currently giving everyone the finger while standing next to my 2 ft tall Voltron.

Wow, I didn't think that series would last a second season.

I hate to say this, but if things don't speed up on Vol3, I'm just going to wait for both Vol4 and 5 to be out before I think about getting them. I've already started to lose my interest in it.
