Wow nothing new for a while now. Vendors have less new stuff for a while now.

I am leaving on Sunday and will be in the Sacramento/SanFransisco area Monday through Thursday and for a short time on Friday. Is Franks and Sons close to where I will be? Is it like a flea market for cool stuff in a big steel building? I am going to try to get over there. Is Franks and Sons open during the week?

Must get macross stuff!

Any other places better than Franks and Sons in the area or should I not even waste my time. someone told me about a place in Sacramento called Toyfusion. I will likely check it out since it is so close.

Frank and Sons is in City of Industry, Ca more like Southern California.

Hard transformation is the price we pay for Mospeada mechas I suppose. I like the minute improvements on the MH yellow version.

Now to just have the Houquet version.

They are in, I picked up my two from Yoshi yesterday, he has them for $55. That "howdy-doody" guy that runs Nan's booth(Echobasetoys) had them also, but for $65. Still no Bandai VF-1A Max, Yoshi said about two more weeks.

Grumpy guy at echobasetoys offers all three for $150.

I cannot believe we have such 'elitist' mentality in a cartoon forum.

I live outside Japan, in Singapore to be exact. Many many years ago, the local TV broadcaster was showing the uncontaminated Mospeada (ok ok... minus some bathing scenes ). If I'm not wrong, Taiwan and maybe HK was showing the same uncontaminated stuff too. Not all countries outside Japan buy Harmony Crap.

In fact, local tv showed the uncontaminated versions of Macross, Southern Cross and Mospeada.

I was very very little then, and i taped the episodes. Mospeada made a lasting and deep impression in me, much more than Macross (which i managed to watch the uncontaminated version too, before i know about Robocrap). That's why Mospeada is still one of my fav anime of all time. Southern Cross i didn't like at that time, so i didn't watch all or i don't remember much from it.

Yes, I'm very grateful for not being contaminated.

without Harmony Gold showing Robotech I bet you would not have known about Macross, Genesis Climber and so on -- assuming u lived outside Japan.

Thanks for posting the pics and video it really showed how well the event went.

There were so many interesting things to see there like the neat custom, vendors, band, macross fans, and the cool video game area. I was hoping to see a macross type game though.

I wonder how hard would it be to bring my own collection to this event next year?

Anyway best convention ever.
