It doesn't seem too bad. The part that broke is the bottom yellow thing that you're supposed to pull the upper fin up from. Looks like I'll be able to glue it back in with little notice, but I'll never touch that thing again. Oddly enough, there's no mention of those fins in the manual at all.

I just got mine, looks great, but since this is my first valk I'm afraid of doing anything to it other than opening the canopy. edit: omg i just broke part of the fin thing thats on the underside of fighter when i tried to fold them

I was wondering if someone could post some comparison shots of battroids with and without side covers.

It should be the same price as what they list on the site. The reason for two prices listed there is one has the 5% Japanese sales tax added and the other doesn't. Ordering from Overdrive and HLJ gets us the exact same prices as what they would be paying in Japan minus the sales tax. But then you sometimes have to pay some other sales tax when it gets delivered to your country.

Theres also color. TV FPs are lighter and movie FPs are darker.

Doesn't that mean that no one answered the door when they came to deliver?

I was trying to decide what to buy as my first valk too. I like the look of the vf-0s but I dont like how its just one color except for one small stripe. I originally wanted a v2 vf-1S hikaru, but looking at the upcoming releases it doesn't look like its gonna be soon so I settled on this.

Just wondering since this will be my first valk, should I be worried about the tampo printing rubbing/scratched off easily while I'm zooming around the house with it?

I'm still new to these forums but from what I hear the vf-0 has shoulder/bicep joints that seem to crack easily. The vf-0S bundle with the ghost seems to be a re-issue that has the problem fixed, but the vf-0A are a hit and miss on that problem.

I'm in Canada and was wondering if theres any import duty or fee that I have to pay if I'm ordering from HLJ or Overdrive.

I was waiting for a re-issue to fix any QC or misc problems, but if they really not re-issuing the combo pack, then i better order mine now.

i'm still new to the valkyrie toy collecting, but what are these side covers you are talking about.

I haven't ordered anything from either but Overdrive's shipping estimate seems about the same as HLJ's EMS rate. I think you can save around 20 dollars by going SAL on HLJ. Can someone tell me if they have tried both EMS and SAL and whether they have had problems going cheaper? I don't really care about the speed of the delivery.
