Maybe for FedEx. HLJ gave me these three options when I contacted their customer support team about unreasonably high estimates for shipping to the US that their site generated automatically:

    EMS ¥9,840
    FedEx ¥18,494
    DHL ¥20,266

If you can get flat rate DHL shipping through Amazon Japan, that would definitely be better. They also look to be cheaper than 42,000. (check out the link @tekeringshared)

    16700 is EMS - 4 to 7 days

19350 is Airmail -1 to 3 wks (why this is more, i have no idea)....

    13950 is SAL - 2 to 3 wks

I forgot all about this one. But with the Prime 1 statues, that's the focus now. The old version does seem better unless you just want a bigger version.

more pictures.  no price yet on the status.  i think it will probably be around $800 to $1K

I'm guessing you bought from HLJ?

That's a promotion they're doing right now, a kitkat with every order, plus another for every ¥6000 you spend.

yes. purchased from HLJ and got the unexpected kit kat.  really cool stuff.  The entire process from order to home delivery took about two weeks.

  4. HLJ's explanation regarding the shipping no-show or the order:

Unfortunately, this item is too large for our shipping calculator to automatically calculate its shipping cost. The available shipping methods and costs for one piece of this item to Canada are:

    EMS: 15,500 yen
    FedEx: 8,103 yen
    DHL: 9,293 yen

I had to email their products/order dept to get an answer.  They will input the shipping method for me

If you haven't ordered from them there's a way to see the shipping cost to Canada by putting an available item to the cart. And on the right side panel you'll see the Cart and Shipping Calculator buttons. Click the Shipping Calculator Button and select the country where you want it to be shipped. There you will see shipping method and cost available for you.

Here's a screenshot. Remember, this interactive computation only works with items that are available and not 'unavailable/sold out'.

Nippon Yasan now showing in-stock at ¥30,200

I'm not linking it, because their shipping rates are murder, and you're better off waiting for another vendor.

    thanks for the heads-up

can we continue tossing out online shops that still has this listed with reasonable shipping cost.

i am still in the market for one and did not pre-order.   i am located in Canada and know the shipping is going to hurt
