lol gotta love my crappy pics with my old digi cam...oh and forgot to clean my room..lol..

It would be really cool if you combine both the old Edwards valks and the new versions which I would place much closer to the camera. In this way, the fugly ones are blurred out and act as background noise. A deceptive way of increasing your air cavalry.

  2. More v1. are ending up in the trash or in the discount bin which will be more & more the case. So in the end, it will be those few exceptions that held on as the grand kids will surely have a treasure trove to cash in. NOT! Who knows, but I sure do find value in them since they have some worthiness to a few of them such as the first factory run of the VF-1D; the TRU CFs because many Toys R Us are closing these days and that would be a by-gone era as we will witness the next shoe to drop to it's eventual demise. I think that sums it up which is a few notable hallmarks of the toy line. Oh, perhaps the die cast is another if you're OCD for chogokin. 1/72 mac+ valks is another story those are fugly but worth it, if first versions are at all what you care about.

  3. I thought I heard Scott's voice (prez of HLJ) in that video. Why wasn't there an appearance of him in that video?

When Scott compared his operation to Amazon's well that was quite interesting, I wish there were more material on that.

  4. Vizio's are nice too bad that they'll discontinue their plasma line.

42" 1080 p with a res at 1920x1080 is a great bargain. I have a Vizio same specs in regards to screen res but at 47"

I also heard that Pioneer will close their manufacturing facilities for most of the plasma screens they provide for other vendors.

So I have you played any action movies on it? No artifact distortions, I hope.

  5. What's strange about this whole economic situation is that it's not really a "recession;" from the research and consulting I've done (with economists), the majority of the problem is attributed to nation-wide panic, and then poor decision making.

Please don't anyone try to dispute this to make me look like a fokker lol (get it??? lol geez i crack myself up B)) ), i'm just regurgitating some notes i took at a recent econ brown bag session.

Anyway, the smart people say that there is nothing "wrong" with the economy, and it's still growing bit by bit; just not as much as it was in the past... I haven't looked at recent stats but i'm told there has been no negative growth for a 6 month period or greater which is what defines a recession...

Any experts in the area feel free to chime right on in...

Peru, on the other hand, seems to be blossoming at the moment; and they are about to enact a trade agreement to strengthen their economy even more...

Since i don't live stateside i don't really feel too many of the affects, so i probably shouldn't even be saying anything, but... i can say that the dollar needs to strengthen its lil george washington arse back on up... Exchange rates are doing me some damage at the moment, i heard it's going to be up at 95 yennies to the dollar tomorrow though, so looks like we are making some strides in comparison to the 85 it was at last week  ...

Yes... you've said it by regurgitating what they've told you.

  6. Well the value of money in the first place is imaginary, so whether you have paper which has imaginary value or you have electronic bits that have imaginary value doesn't really matter, does it? :p

And that's the excuse the banks will give you when they wipe out your money outta of the bank so I guess you're prepared.

  7. The economy must in the tanker if there's a topic like this one being discussed in the toy section. But seriously, when you have the Federal Reserve which isn't part of the government but a privatized bank print so much cash, the savings that you have put in the banj and the interest accumulated depreciates in value and in turn inflation which is why the $.50 Coke you bought a year ago is now $.75.

Yes, I've cut back on all kinds of spending and I'm content but savings in my opinion is no saving grace. I don't trust the banks nor their claim of an FDIC guarantee. In reality my money is really their money. We're holding it for them momentarily in bits of computer data of ones and zeros. The physical money is being spent by them to acquire whatever they need to do to control or corner a market. So whenever a person has an inkling to get their money out of the bank well... ask the people in Greece, Iceland and now Ireland.

  8. I said the same thing two pages back

well if they don't make em, you could always just get a dill pickle and glue two yellow skittles to the side and you'd have Breetai's flagship

Don't give ebay scammers any ideas for potential pre-order items!
