  1. my first yammie yf-19 version 1 paid $280 yeouch!
  2. Bud stickers do go on the missiles and BTW how many did you buy? I assume you only bought one cuz if you did you would've answered your own #4 question whether the super packs given to ya where of one side instead of a mirror opposite fast pack. One thing though that I had wished Yamato did for their strike cannon was to somehow use the same gimmick Club M did for their ultiamte valk. As for the gears getting pushed back to their bays while rollin' it, I'd say put some some sort of oil lubricant on the wheels to make it roll easier. Eric
  3. i was lookin thru this auction and man are you glad I didn't bid for these items. I surely would've gotten it if I hadn't any prior commitments.
  4. looks like a wicked witch that gave sharon an apple
  5. Ok maybe the caption above the poll shoud've read "3 of the six poll choices sounds realistic"
  6. Just curious to see how many are out there within our forums Well I guess to continue the tradition of the cannon fodder I'll put down all the designated numbers <span style='font-size:10pt;line-height:100%'> 0 soze 78 Sqidd 06 Lightning 06 005 mildred 007 valkyrietestpilot 008 fearyaks 009 Smut Peddler 011 Scream Man 012 rnurmin 013 mantisfists 014 Smiley424 017 Sephiroth 019 hevangel2 023 NSJ23 025 Battlepod 026 Terrance Wong 035 chowyunskinny 036 Valkyrie Hunter D 042 vlenhoff 055 brainiac_08 057 chowyunskinny 059 Qrusader 061 Qrusader 062 Qrusader 067 Vampire Hunter D 069 Smut Peddler 072 KingNor 076 Valkyrie Beggar 077 rocco_7 078 Jin_Kune_Do 080 eming 082 Jin_Kune_Do 086 Isamu Atreides 86 088 soze 100 kensei 101 JsARCLIGHT 103 Skull Leader 107 Vostok 7 108 rnurmin 110 kensei 111 Sturmvogel 113 mildred 115 Cmdr. 7. it would so cool to see a final census of all Yamatos owned. Hopefully the other 600 + registered users can put their collection vouched for.
  8. If you're a beginner a Badger airbrush will do nicely. You just have to get use to their double action trigger which is not as smooth as the Iwata's. The Iwata Eclipses are real nice and their the general all-purpose airbrush a real work horse. You could clean this airbrush in a snap when it inevitalbe clog gets in the way. If you become an expert, then the Iwata micron series is the cadillac of all airbrushes. Now for the compressor you can either get an air tank that you need to re-charge or a noisy Sears /Craftsman air compressor. Both has it's good & bad it all depends on your preference. If you want to haul a tank to get it refilled then by all means do so, it's cheaper but heavy and not so convenient. An air compressor cost more and noisy (that is, if you buy the cheap kind) but could give you an endless air flow if you install a moisture trap at the hose assembly which is very important. There are some air compressors with a built-in moisture trap and run very silent but expect to dish out high dollar for this item. Eric
  9. Nice to see a covert and welcome to the stage where you have doubts and regrets of having your 1/60th collection! J/K
  10. nice pics did you photoshop the backgound off?
  11. I just scanned thru ebay to see how many 1/60th are being sold. From what I gather it would be very difficult to sell all of your 1/60 because alot of sellers are unloading their stock that is if you're contemplating on selling your collection. Their prices are what you would expect but if you want to really get rid of 'em, take your losses and sell it dirt cheap so you can at least compete with those sellers.
  12. Goto HlJ and you'll see the SHE version of it on theri front page .I don't know when the Toycom release will happen but I hope is soon or perhaps a confirmed date would be nice.
  13. The MPC AMM-1 are NOT removeable. I managed to pop one off my "Ben" MPC" but the rest are glued tight. It is not a design feature. The same applies to the Yamato 1/60. vinnie Yes, I know because it's partly due to Quality Control inconsistencies regarding to 1/60ths (look at my original post) but as for the MPC I was able to get the missiles off the Miria's veritech.
  14. Some of my 1/60th AMM-1 missiles have the ability detach form the missile rack maybe partly due to QC inconsistencies. The HCM and MPC have this ability as well.
  15. Hey Twin I see your having problems with the hatch not closing when the fastpacks are attached in fighter. That hatch from the start when they issued the 1/48 vf-1s has been a lingering problem and I sure hope they fix it when they release the 1j and Hikaru's 1s.
  16. The 1/48 looks bad-ass can't say I like the MPC's version of it.
  17. It's a complimentary gift from HLJ when ever you buy a Gundam PG you get a free "lord of all boxes"
  18. If I had to do it all over again, 1/48 would be my choice. It dissapponts me to see the 1/60th line suffering from all the QC and unexpected surprises like the new revealing preview of the VE-1's non-removable radar base attachment, meaning it cannot transform fully to non-armored fighter. (it's news to me and why did Yamato choose this route!) Although, the 1/60th line is affordable and it has some diecast content, (chalk 2 up for the 1/60) it suffers alot in detail like their 1/72 cousins and that's what I like mostly in a valk. What so special about the 1/48 scale is you can build around them with products available form all model kit companies. 1/72 is probably my next favorite scale because it too has a large popularity in the hobby market.
  19. $1200 for an acoustic, may I ask what brand.... Taylor, Takamine, Yamaha I've been meaning to buy me an acoustic, if it wasn't for these Macross toy releases I probably have more than one guitar. spent $1500 last month on ebay stuff 2 legioss, 1 dougram blockhead, 1 brown HCM & original 1/65 blazer (none of that bootleg kreezap!)
  20. non-removable radar dish... that sux
  21. Probably by the middle of September I'll be getting new batch in.
  22. I keep all my opened Bandai & Yammie boxes folded up and the plastic trays stacked up in one or in this case make it two big HLJ boxes. As for the boxes with styrofoam trays there's only one way to solve that, move into a bigger pad!
