  1. Huh! John's 1/32 Legioss was available for purchase? Or do you mean 1/35 Gakken Legioss?
  2. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we've done this before, but taste do change over time when the next "Holy Grail" topic comes along. Let see, last time my vote was for my 1/35 Legioss collection which followed the 1/48 Yammies. Well its 2004, brand new year and my only new toy would have to be my Powerbook G4 17". This baby hauls! Rips thru Divx and converts 'em like there's no tomorrow. An ample 64mb of vram is so robust any resolution movie however high never breaks a sweat. Photoshop, Flash, Freehand & Lightwave breezes thru and as expected. Can't wait when they come out with a G5 predecessor! My second fave would be my 1/72 Dougram Blockhead, of course this will change soon enough when my Aoshima's 1/6 die-cast Terminators come from HLJ.
  3. They should have a 1/72 HCM vf-1s,j or a in their collection
  4. here, here... News, pics anything to crave my appetite &/or avatar appetitties
  5. I would be interested in buying this! It's the next best thing to a vb-6 koenig!
  6. What's the point in voting when 1/48 wins hands down. If you have die-cast lust by all means get the 1/60 with its detachable legs, swappable canopies, thumbless trigger hand, & most of lack of detail.
  7. great work Kurt! Did you clear coat the paint job? The paints you used, are they water-based?
  8. The pose didn't take no time but the transformation was hell. Like my first yammie yf-19! The legs was easy enough to transform but I thought I wouldv'e figured it out without the manual but I gave in and tried to decipher what Graham had put down on the manual. Im a little hazy about the arm position in dragon mode. It seems that the arms need some locking mechanism within the shoulders.
  9. and last but not least, my favorite. Although Yamato could've done better with the transformation to dragon mode, I think you get what you paid for. The SHE kit for instance has perfect transformation nothing is detachable that I know of and it is half the size of Yamato! I would like Yamato to continue the escaflowne line and make more guymelefs!
  10. and another. BTW if the escaflowne were 1/48 it should stand as tall at the halfway mark of the Valkyrie's sheild canopy.
  11. I got mine from Kev and I must say he delivers quickly and not a scratch on my boxes. I don't know how you guys do it, you & Tamim, you guys are choice sellers in my book! Here's a couple quick pics
  12. ...not to mention the launch pad that it should come with.
  13. BTW I've never seen the anime & this is my first time seeing it in heavy mode & it reminds me of the vf-2ss.
  14. Really nice & difficult especially in 1/100 scale. The base looks awesome too, you've really brought a pro look to it.
  15. I guess I'll have to work harder to fit in the geek posse cause I scored a 7.5% poser.
  16. yeah those launch arms does look good but it suffers to be a true stand when you have to remove the gun pod from the valk in order for you display 'em. I think you have to refer back to the old MW boards to get the pic.
  17. twin moons valkyrie exchange
  18. Slap a different head design and call it EVA 4 & 5! Nothing spectacular and I have all of the EVA SOCs still debating whether I should get these or not but can't resist the chogokin aspect of it. When are they gonna make SOC Patlabor or a Votom. How about a SOC guymelef preferbly all of 'em.
  19. I'll join the pre-ordering band wagon as soon as Yamato post pics of the q-rau pilot. Hope the pilots have interchangable Meltrandi heads.
  20. I'm wondering whether you can make the wings sweep behind in dragon mode like the tv series. Can't wait to get mine from Kev.
  21. i gotta agree that the vf-1d; ve-1; vt-1 aren't out the realm of possibility to have the armor fit on these. Although, we need more info if they are compatible with non fast pack valks.
  22. this happened to me when they first issued the 1/48 vf-1a hikaru. i was installing the missiles and the the panel came off. no biggie just glued it back on
  23. I guess I'm the only one that thinks Macross Plus isn't the best dub but I wouldn't vote it the worst. I prefer the original for its soundtrack and voice actors cuz its somehow places some subtle emotions that gets lost in the dubbing production and Yoko Kanno's original musical score has been set precisely to fit the emotional scenes. You'll see what I mean when you compare Guld's battle with the Ghost.
  24. Hope ya nab that elf & beat him to pulp and throw back the gifts to its face! JK I know this is serious but have ya considered having one of your friends stalk the stalker leaving gifts at your front door? Probably set a video camara in your car at night and prop it to face the front door of your house.
