Newly announced products always provide some speculative product predictions into why is Yamato introducing a new line up. So what a better way to do by providing a poll. I hope Yamato guys are snooping in.... add another poll choice

I'm wondering about that too... because it would be so easy to build a diorama around it. Since some accessories can cater to that scale especially carriers... CVN Asuka II!

The Mechanical Chain Bases are labeled in "engrish" M.S.G. for modelling support goods I've been eyein' at those as well.... and MaveRick let us know how the LEDs turn out in your dio. In the meantime here's a size comparison of a 1/72 AC kit against the MSG backdrop.... -

I hope that pole stands the test of time... If only Mospeada fans don't cave in and buy this overpriced excuse of "look what we could do with a half-assed attempt to entice a small section of suckered fanatics" jobber of a toy. CM's incarnation of a toy which is riddled with too many compromises had been struck by a revelation of which it had taken an overly ambitious stance at first and then later fizzled out due to the lack of interest and/or money to do any revisions. Now, they have to face the concession from dejected fans of whom they're hoping a climate of compromise will seed itself into the minds of those who are willing to turn a blind eye... for shame!!! -
After all those abrasive remarks at least we've settled who's into s&m....

Official 1/60 YF-21 News & Picture Thread (ver.2)
s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
If the rumor about the clear version of the Omega are true, it would be a definite buy for me. It looks to have alot a detail in the inside under carriage for the legs, must be another gimmick which I'm hoping which is the limiter mode. CM's need to get on the ball and create Myung, Guld and the rest of the cast! -
I hope the Beagle leaves up to our expectations BTW doesn't it bother you (as far as I've read and if I did miss it from their post well let me repeat it again) that the hands are sorely lacking fingers?!

1/60 perfect transforming vf-1 from yamato?
s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d replied to Shaggydog's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
ooohhh cool! -
This topic really leads to each of his/her own discretion because getting rid of the original 1/60 is like asking those who owns Takatokus to replace them with 1/48s. I believe each toy has its' own advantages and flaws which makes them that much more valuable... 'cept those MPC!! I doubt that I will ever get rid of my 1/72 YF-19s although the 1/60 is far more better looking! But I also understand, to finance such an expensive hobby, there will come a time that letting go to some treasured collections makes a whole-lotta sense, especially in the state of our economy.

I'm no economist and a OT but the subject has been an interest of late since I've watched a late 80's interview of Norman Dobbs probably about 2 years ago and it was an eye opener! A summary of the interview has Mr. Dobbs who has been given the task to do a government investigation on the Rockefeller Foundation and other "non profit organizations" who has been responsible for creating and controlling all departments of government. I say, "well all those non-profit organizations are doing a noble idea," when in fact during his brief search into the foundations had uncovered the motives of these corporations which is... well you'll have to see & hear it for yourselves. Do the YouTube! The state of the economy especially our involvement with China as a consumerist and as a partner of producing consumer goods has reminded me of the Dobbs interview. The revealing aspect of that interview was the corporate giants of his day (20's & 30's) who where trying to bypass any sort of governmental watch dog and labor laws has a striking resemblance to what China can offer to our current corporate giants. Unfortunately, our world economy is consumer driven and having to trust our central banking system with our savings has made a monstrosity of revolving debt from the private sector all the way up to the federal level. We trusted our banking system with our savings and they had hid the numbers from us so that it could lend out money of which it didn't have. So the debt accumulated along with the variable interest is trickling down to us. Not just the US but the whole world.

looks awesome and you've answered my request from long ago put me down for 1

Well just thinking about how Takatokus 1/100 Destroids came in a 3 in 1 package. Yamato could borrow this notion and have all three in one package!
-
Yamato could make a killing if the battle pods where affordable and come in 3 Packs! But seriously, the Q-Raus where a little on the cheap side as far as workmanship and uber-expensive! If they can make enemy mechs at a reasonable price then yes I'll buy a whole invading fleet!
