Just Collection DX and Anime World Order.
Yup, but I wonder if they'll ever do another podcast for Collection DX with videos featuring their backlog of toy reviews seen on YouTube but this time they won't be hindered with it's lackluster video quality. I know hosting video would be a cost prohibitive move but the boys that can afford it has video podcast themselves and that's HLJ.

Cool Shite on the Tube is highly recommended. An Australian review and discussion podcast site that focuses generally on SF (but not exclusively) and looks at new and old releases. Always an interesting, entertaining and loose discussion. Go to coolshite.net to check it out.
Taksraven
Thanks for that!

I'll start by recommending some that you may already know and some that might spark some interest.
Destroy All Podcast is entertaining and a very straight forward approach to their hilarious brand of reviewing all Japanese Movie/TV/Video releases. They hit it on the nail with their most current review covering Macross Frontier and I'm often enlightened by their "otaku" observation. BTW this is an audio podcast.
Trackshun is a video podcast. So I assume if you're a Zune owner you won't be left out since it can play videos. Chris Swett hosts the show which he reviews the latest anime series being aired in Japanese TV and gives it a "track" or a "shun". Although the current review of a TV series that aired last year had been recommended, he gives a reason why it wasn't detected much earlier. It was shown in the wee hours of the morning and a "track" was given due to it's high production value, and that show is "Seirei no Morbito".
Alpharant a very entertaining audio podcast were 2 brothers gives an insider look into making web comics which also includes a community of peers. Who seem to back stab one another for viewership which gives the brothers enough commentary on the subject with their brand of "happy joke time". Their on-line graphic novel is Alphashade. A highly recommended read. Their current podcast installment is the struggle to get pages out and the state of the economy which affects their bottom line in shipping out their books. Any subject is prone to be dissected by these fellas, after all, it is a rant.
This Week in Tech another audio podcast where Leo Laporte whose known for "The Screen Savers" hosts a round table discussion to what's happening around the tech world. He gives an entertaining look to how technology/industry/politics is affecting our lives. His panel of guests vary from week to week and here are a few notable guests; John C. "I get no spam" Dvorack, Patrick "the wallflower" Norton, Kevin "The $20 million kid" Rose, David "The Impreganator" Praeger and so on. So if you're into, "all things tech" with a dash of politics which lately has been a topic of discussion along with the state of the economy, this show won't disappoint.
There's a ton of podcasts but here's a few that didn't go like vaporware.

Love dioramas. Where's the 1/5000 scale valks
?that should be easy... cut out valks out of paper as well as cars.

-
Shun, thanks for posting that link!
I guess there's no realistic way of getting the rider to mount in ride armor mode (chest first). I was hoping the 1/10 scale could solve that problem. It would also be nice to have some steering on the front wheel, which is another thing that I was hoping for. Overall, the Beagle looks awesome but a bit overpriced. It is one of those things that you have to have in your hands to see if the price justifies the build quality.
I guess it's a good thing that I didn't invest to heavily on the MH and CMS. I do have one from each company. They have good points for their differing renditions, but I prefer perfect transformation rather than parts swapping one from MH which is why I'm disappointed with the BGC line.

It would probably be easier for Yamato to finish the year with a 1/60 M&M release.
-
First, it would have to be any of the 1/60 vf-1 models and all of the above after that initial purchase. And if your billfold can tread a daring high wire act with the economic turmoil around you, I would say to spend it now while you can.

Just a humorous observation on swapping the weapons modules between the Defender and the Tomahawk (assuming that will actually work)... you would end up with a Destroid with either two pilots or no pilot.
On the Tomahawk the pilot is in the main torso section, on the Defender the pilot is in the weapons module.
hmmm... pilotless could there be a ghost destroid?

Seriously does SK ever age? He still looks the same from pictures of him 20 years ago.
He's tapped into the illuminati & their privileged health benefits. We're just funding his "wacko-jacko" oxygen chamber and we're being conditioned to see a dystopian society with his many fictitious scenarios such as the UN Spacy world government, human-machine integration, AI and robbing us blind with every merchandise he pushes. Oh I said to much!
"It's a big idea! A new world order!"
-
WOW
we can mix match all the modular schemes as well as franken-build our destroids. So I'm hoping that the Spartan would follow the same modular design cuz it'll get old fast with the same old bipedals. Since Kawamori likes passing the spliff around Yamato HQ, it would be nice, if Yamato can do a 1/60 version line of the Armored Core that would be epic! -
Sadly yes, and I noticed that HLJ has dropped the policy of emailing 4 weeks payment notices which is a good thing for the consumer and bad for them cuz they're feeling the crunch too.
-
bravo! nice color scheme

Xam'd is the show I am watching every week along with Frontier. Its not "knock my socks off" like Eureka Seven was for me, but its solid and its good.
Yeah...I just started watching this show & I found it by chance at YouTube and so far the animation is top notch. Funny, it reminds me alot of Last Exile in which how this whole thread had started.

I've been wondering if they're purposely trying to make it as un-Yamato as possible.
...or maybe their Gundamizing it or perhaps in this case SOCing it and by that, I mean Slightly Off Course!
-
Fellas.
NOTHING can be worse than the rear landing wheels that were on Masterpiece Starscream (a Kawamori design).
speaking of masterpiece that list can be further extended to the alpha
-
gaps, low riding front landing gear, and a pair of grocery store cart caster wheels to bring up the rear.
Bandai go back to the drawing board and learn from Yamato's near disaster of the 1/100 vf-0

-
That's another thing that's been bothering me as well. That VF-25 toy isn't very well integrated with all its parts.
yeah I gotta agree, not very seamless in it's execution, but it's a prototype which is the easy explanation.
-
The trailer doesn't look compelling at all. Bunch a stiff talking heads. I don't understand why would they sell that to anyone without some of attention grabbing sequence.
-
So does the weathered version come with an inebriated maintenance crew?
I think I'll just get a couple of the clean versions and have an army of weathered versions.
-
Lord Breetai settling the score against Rick, this really is something to poop-on!
-
Didn't this is also came with a matching life support vest?
-
I wonder why Yamato chose the 1/15 scale. 1/12 would've been better size and sales-wise since the Garland is also 1/12. I hope someone picks up the glove soon. In a way, I'm relieved that the Aoshima is a model kit, means there's still chance of having some nice Motoslaves in that scale in the future.
The Garland is 1/15 you're thinking of the Votoms, they're 1/12
So the blurry pic is a kit and not an actual upcoming toy release.
Really disappointing! But hey, I guess I have enough to save on the Beagle.
-
ok those test shots look so much better but I have to ask how hard can it be to make teloscoping landing gears to the front and rear?
This one of a few major problems.
It seems the clogs have gone away and they have posed it properly this time.
-
wow this reminds me of the early days of Yamato when their Mac+ line was being scrutinized.
There's no doubt that I would probably buy 1 of each but damn that looks like a valk wearing clogs.
"We'll just slap those things later on." is what I think they had said regariding the landing gears because it seems to be an after thought.
This is what Bandai with all it's high tech engineering can produce?
I'm disappointed and I think they really want this to fail so that you could get sucked into their Gundam wall garden.
Do you listen to podcast?
in Anime or Science Fiction

Slice of Scifi.... I'll give that a try, what's your handle in the voice mail part of the show?
