  1. I heard somewhere said that when using some type of paint thinner on plastic could damage the plastic and making it more brittle? I have been cleaning my 1/48 valk with alcohol; and when I fill the panel line using a Gundam marker, I use alcohol to wipe the spill over clean.

Now, I'm worrying about that I'have been damaging the plastic or making it more brittle. I wonder if anyone have any experience on this issue.

  2. You should just get a used Jap PS2 as a lot of people are dumpping their Big ps2 for the slim version.

Also, you can get OYW PS2 for like $12.90 from play-asia.com, it is a steal..

If you like seed, you must play Fed vs Zaft Seed PS2 as it is awesome. Just getting a chance to pilot freedom Gundam and perform a full power shot will make you feel really good.

well I would guess slow down for a heavy free movement mecha could would be obvious espically for Gundam...but sadly I can't play OYW cause I don't want to mod myPS2 nor do I have enough money to buy a modded PS2.....sooooooooooooooooooooo Battle Tactics for my PSP is good enough for me.

I'll just sit around playing Guilty Gear XX on my PSP, I love it.

  3. This is off topic, but I'll throw my impression.

It is now only released in Japan for PSP, I have finished all fed mode missions. My impression was not that great as on later missions, there are a lot of slow down. Particularly the mission where 3 Dom were trying to get me at once, the slowdown caused the control become extremely unresponsive.

I still think OneYearWar for PS2 from Namco is the best Gundam game. I guess I like to do the aiming myself instead of just a simple autolock function. As for seed Gundam game, fed vs Zaft is the best, period.

  4. Bigbadtoystore has a lot of gunpla with 40% off.

    Just a headsup..

Man-o-man... thanks for the heads up on this, I just bought two 1/144 METEOR/Freedom kits! :D

Yeah, I bought quite a few kits too like MG MK-II 2.0 and MG freedom, etc..

A lot of them are sold out, so hurry!

  5. I bout the game a few days after release since it was sold out at some Best Buys here. I love the RE games and after buying the two Game Cube RE games and borrowing a GameCube to play them was looking forward to the PS2 versions. I dig the game a lot, still wish that the villagers were zombies instead. The only thing that I wish was included was a side-step or strafing action, just moving the character around with the analog button and the right analog to control the view makes me dizzy at times.

I like to be able to side step too, but it will either make the game too easy (unless the zombies can move faster) or the gameplay will just end up like any other FPS games. I think that's probably why CAPCOM leave the game this way.

  6. The third line, did you mean..

enamel base: either acrylic or enamel is ok on top, Lacquer will desolve the enamel base color

    Please let me know.

  7. If I use lacquer base paint for the first layer, can I spray enamel base paint on top of that? Or must I have to stick with the same type?

What about the other way around? Used Enamel type on the first layer and then use Lacquer base for the second layer on top of that.

Does Lacquer base react with Enamel type paint even though they are completely dry?

Please help as I'm worry that I may mess up my project.

  8. I got the reply from the site, and they said that

tes1960 in an enamel spray while the

    tes1260 is a lacquer.

What is the difference between lacquer base and enamel? Is one particularly stronger?

Say, if I use Lacquer base color to paint the model and used lacquer base clear dullcote to give it a flat surface, they are going to react each other and ruin the previous paint layer, right?

And is it the same for enamel paints??

Therefore, I need to use different type of paint other than the type that was on top of the surface currently.

    Please let me know.

  9. I actually like it a lot, but I wasn't trying to compare it with Anime or manga version. The story was good as it covered all the major plots in anime that I thought were good. Most of the race scenes were good. And in some parts, the show creates a lot of very funny moments.

I speak cantonese so I can understand the whole movie fully, and that I believe that become a problem with non-cantonese speaking world.

BTW, I hate the music, it is so bad....

  10. I'm looking for a flat clear coat spray can that spray directly on the plastic surface of a toy or model that gives a flat finish to cover up the plastic looking color.

I found 2 spray paint from testers.

    http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes1960.htm

    Clear Flat Finish Spray

    AND

    http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes1260.htm

    Dullcote Spray

    Which on should I use??

Or am I supposed to spray a gloss clear first and then spray the flat to make sure it is not too flat??

    Please help.
