I just got a speeding ticket today, the cop clocked me at 71mph on a 55mph zone (interstate highway). I haven't had any ticket for almost 10 years, and I'm usually the one telling friend and family to slow down...
However, it happened when I was driving back to home from work. I was all the way at the leftmost lane (5 lanes in between). Frankly, I didn't know how fast I was driving but I was sure that there were a few cars around me that were faster but I was the only one on the left lane.
Anyway, I checked my speed and it was at 62mph as soon as I saw a parked cop car from very far away on the left shoulder and then I let off the throttle completely. Once I passed the parked cop car, the officer got into the car and pulled me over.
I was very surprised as I didn't know the radar gun could caught me that far away, or the officer just BS about that. My mind wasn't very clear as I thought I should have asked to see proof. The ticket is $138 + possible insurance premium increase?, a 1/48 yammy drain down to toliet.
I'm very upset, as I'm guessing if the cop could have accidentally shot another car around me that was going at 71mph. Even so, I don't know how to prove that. I really want to fight for it but I don't have any knowledge and experience. Anyone could share some experience and suggestion?

Well, I still haven't heard from Tam yet. I'm wondering if he can ask for some reimbursement from his supplier. I understand that it is not his fault but just wondering if he'll do something, so I'll stay loyal to his store. I still have tons of pre-orders from TmpAnime.com.
From the look of the part, it doesn't look like it'll be easy to take out on your own and replace it.
When I get a reply, I'll let you guys know.

The rest of the toy seems ok, with the loose rotation joints on the arm and knee. The loose gunpod handle and it has the hole too small to be attached in fighter mode. The feet sliding joint is also very loose on mine.
The tail fin tip really upset me and my wife told me to break another one so they'll look even

Hell yeah, that's why I'm so upset, as I can't even fix it.
I'm sure it's broken before it is being packed, WHY!!! for $170 toy..

Got mine today and I'm not that lucky. One of the tail fin tip is broken and I can't even find it in the box.
I bought from Tmpanime by the way, hopefully, Tamim will do something for me about it.
I'm so jealous for the people that got a perfect one.

Thanks, I just bought one. Hope that would work on my import games. I have a first generation Jap PS2 and it's been giving me problem lately. I bought a USA PSTWO slim recently for cheap and I'm hoping to use to play imports..

It is not 100% playable like a import fighting game, but a little trial and error/ FAQ reading should get you through the game easily. With that said, I meant some custumization required between levels like SRW series.
I've been meaning to ask somebody about this and i guess this is just about a good as place as any, is this game playable if you can't read/understand Japanese? The menus in the Japanese Front Mission games for example are all spelled out in English, but the storyline is Japanese Text. Although you miss the storyline if you can't read Japanese, at least the game is playable. Is this game anything like that? I've been meaning to take a look at this... that is if i can get past the main menu. My Japanese comprehension aint what it used to be.

I've only played for about 2 minutes but it looks like the controls are better than I remember on the old game. I'll wait on control judgement until I've played more. I must say though that the opening animation is incredible. I can't think of too many opening animations to games that are better. Holy crap. The one thing I found a little odd though is seeing more qua-ru action than valkyrie action in the opening animation. You also get to see some Qua-Ru's get wasted by some bug looking mech (grey mech with clear dragonfly wings) with a female pilot. -

Anyone get a chance to play it? I'm annoyed from ACE 1 that the Right or Left turn of the mech is inverted. I wonder if they change the control this time, or let player to re-map the control.

Yeah, I just got my EMSIA RX78 from hlj and the paint job was so disappointed that I canceled both my freedom/Justice EMSIA preorder. But after seeing the photo above, I'm thinking about putting the order back.. Not sure yet..
in my opinion, MS head design for EMSIA is still not on par with HCMPRO.
HCM PRO has the best head design for Strike freedom Gundam, even better than Cosmic Region Strike freedom IMHO. Anyone agree?

Do you guys think if I question the officer's ability to correctly shoot a radar gun from that far away with many cars in between five lanes, will that pi$$ off the judge? I'm thinking about taking some pictures to show the distance between the parked cop car and my car.
By the way, I'm in TwinCities Minnesota, and I doubted my speedometer is bad.
