    Since the old one has gone on to the great hallowed hall of super threads (link), I figure we'd need a new thread to continue the talk, news, and rumors about all things Joe-related.

    Considering it was a little over a year ago that this collection first burst onto the scene, it's amazing to see how much this whole line has grown.

    I really should take more updated pics of my current collection. But I'll get us started with some pics of the baddest LRRP group around:

    Interesting news. I wonder if the 1/100 line will just cover Frontier VFs or VFs from all series? Hopefully, we will get a 1/100 VF-171.

    Parts swapping, not so good news, but not surprising as the line was initially announced as bing "simple transformation".

    Well that would be cool since we do have a yamato 1/100 scale VB-6 Monster to put it against. So anything on Vajra mecha coming out?

    Is it me or the line is going down the tubes? I have to say wave 9 was the best but noiw it feels like this is the peak of the 25th line and it is slowly going downhill. I mean look at wave 12- it is meh to me. Carded dreadnok Ripper from the cartoon no doubt but I got my dreadnoks from the comic pack. I mean nothing really new just damn repaints. Looking at the sea command 3 pack. Hasbro really screwed up with Cutter. He is just a gung-ho with a shipwreck body. Deep-six is an Ace repaint and Shipwreck is another baroness repaint minus the chest. Oh Leatherneck is a gungho repaint as well with the Brazil colors. I just wish they finish the line with Recondo, Footloose, Ripcord, blowtorch, cover girl, heavy-metal, frostbite, Iceberg, lifeline, Cross Country, Zap, Sci-Fi, Mindbender, Zarana, Zandar, Monkeywrench, Tunnelrat, Chuckles, Jinx, Big Lob and the Renegades.

    At this point, I really dont give a flying fark about it. I hope most of the characters kick the bucket. :angry::angry::angry: Just when I was getting into this... ok, so I am still pissed about them killing off Michel.

    I think Ranka will go with the Vajra to ensure peace between the NUNS and Vajra She will make the ultimate decision to sacrific her love for peace. Maybe Brera will go with her, though I have feeling he will buy the farm to save her. Maybe Alto will go back to Theater since he sees how Michel dies and make amends with his father. And of course Sheryl will go with him since she is use to the theater. And I also forsee Klan sacrificing herself since there is no one else for her.

    ME GODZILLA IS VERY ANGRY! I WILL STOMP AND BREATHE FIRE ON THE HOUSES OF SCRIPTWRITERS AND ALL WHO ARE INVOLVED! THEN I TAKE A RADIOACTIVE DUMP ON THEM. They should have laid off the sauce when writing this episode.

    This episode has pissed me off. It was going good when Sheryl bitch slapped Ranka. I have been wanting to see that and I expected it coming. Then Sheryl was singing in the shelter when she was trying to calm everyone down. Michel realizing he does love Klan was classic. Killing Michel? WTF? I REPEAT: WTF!?!?! Wait... for those who missed it: WTF!!! What BS is this?

    Oh Michel is dead, that's for sure. Preview in the next episode where micronized Klan hugging Michel's helmet pretty drew the conclusion and finality of Michel's death. I much preferred Luca to buy the farm. Hell half of the SMS staff (if not most) bit the dust. Then again, Michel was the new sempai. Still he shouldnt die. I have to figure out if I want to continue to watch this...

    Has anyone had a hard time finding the black helmet variant destro two packs. I thought they were supposed to be difficult but the first sets they had in my area were 1 for 1.

    Yes. If you have one, I want one. Actually I need 2-3 as I am helping fellow collectors in my area. They helped me out on getting Wave 7,8, and 9.

    yes RA series is always about stereotypes. Sure RA was a copy of C&C. I mean the graphics are the same and the engine was the same. All they did was redrew maps and added some new units like the bug zapper trooper and bug zapper defense which was cool and funny. Still nothing really goofy. The movies looked serious but still you see the stereo types.

    RA2 was stepping up to be a little wierd, a step up to being funny and stereo typed like we see the president smiling at the young girl that similary resembles Monica Lewenski, Texas accented General, hot commando played Kari Wuhr, funny witted Seal commandos. Now Dolphins wasnt goofy. US Navy is actually experimenting with them. It was the creators that wanted to have a counterpart squidds for the Soviets. And yes they even make fun of the tabloids in the in end where you defeated the Soviets. So the proportions where the tanks are giants to the police cars driving around NYC in the first mission but it wasnt bad. RA2 was borderline goofy. I love using those zeps. They are armored flying tanks. Takes a lot to kill them. Even Yuri's Revenge wasnt bad. The saucers were the only thing goofy in that.

    RA3 is just plain outlandish. Spectacular explosions, flying bears, and stuff that looked like they were drawn for kids. I think of it as kiddie cartoons. It looks more colorful too. To me it seems like it breaks away from the traditional RA series. Sorry EA, I am not biting on this. It is one of the few I dont buy from EA. EA got my money for Bad Company and the Madden series and C&C TW.
