Yeah, what he said. Besides that would make cool dioramas with my 1/48s valks. I can understand the space issue but I have to even start on these 1/48 line. I cant wait for low vis number to get to my doorstep. B)

There will be always complainers. And ppl will complain about products/services if they don't truly feel it is the value of the buck, yen, pound, franc, etc.. (insert your currency preference here). This is tue in marketing. And we know the ppl who complain bought the products. But the catch is that will they buy the next product. Hence why they (the companies) will listen to the majority. If the majority is satisfied, why improve it if they know you, consumer will buy it again. But ppl aren't stupid errr... not that stupid (yeah, that's it! B) ) As Graham says, damned it if you do and damn if you don't. I for one, am HAPPY with these 1/48s. I can afford it with all my OT Seriously, since I picked stuff from Toynami, I can tell you I have something to compare the 1/48s to. And I will say the 1/48s are perfect in my eyes. Sure there are minor gripes, like my strap broke clean thru the ring when you are to attaching it to the gunpod. But what'd you expect? At least I can get a strap from Monkey-N. Toynami? I should not have gotten them but that was before I discovered the holy grails: 1/48s. Sure I want the GBP but what the heck? Maybe with enough constructive feedback, we can give yamato an idea that it is profitable to go that way. I say feedback as in, "would you please consider..." rather than "you guys suck because you didn't..." There are ways to get your view across. The latter will certainly get you nowhere. As for me, I preordered the VF-1J FP Hikaru with VE. I won't use them but they look good on my low vis. -Godzilla

With my GIJOE, Voltron, Transformers reissues, Robotech MPCs, Starwars, Starrblazers, Star Trek, comics and now Yamato, I ran out of space long ago. It is time to cutback hence why I want to cut out the yamato 1/60 valks and sell what i have since I bought 2 of everything. Lord knows I need to do some cleaning out. I am becoming a pack rat. It is time to decide what stays and what goes. Why? Because I am gonna buy more 1/48 valk releases, Alpha MPCs, Transformer re-releases and any Destroids.

Wha? You want them to do what Toynami did? Spend all the money on the box and make a semi-half decent toy? (Yes, I am a proud own of all 5 VF MPCs. They are not bad but compared to yamato, the MPCs suck. If I had found out about yamato's line of 1/48th sooner, I would have not bought those MPCs! )

I assume the TV Fast Packs will be like the DRYL ones with the hi level of detail, removable panes, etc.? If the Fast packs work on the DRYL valks, my low vis will get it. I should preorder one... but I am in the process of acquiring a squadron of low vis.

I know that the fast packs were not available for Hikaru's VF-1J from the TV show but those Fast Packs look like the would go well with the 1/48 low vis. What do you all think?

So s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d has the most with 16 1/48s? 42 1/60s? 31 1/72s?!?!? WTH? s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d who in heck are you bombing? Ok, let expand on the math further in which the money s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d spent on his air force: 16 x $150 = $2400 42 x $65 = $2730 31 x $65 = $2015 The grand total comes out to be $7145. Please note we are using the average numbers here. s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d can probably give us the numbers but let’s go with the facts at hand. If s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d has that much cash to shell out, I am sure he could buy us some. Either that or s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d has declared bankrupcy. Ok, I upped my collection of 1/48s by one when my 2nd low vis arrived. So I have 3 1/48s. But am not shelling out seven, I'd say again SEVEN grand on toys let alone on set of toys.

You left out these titles: Captain America Fantastic Four The Flintstones Inspector Gadget Josie and the Pussycats Mr. Magoo Scooby-Doo Steel Oops. My bad. I knew I was missing more. Working 60-70 hours a week is effectively killing my brain cells.

Live action movie? Ummmmmm no. Unless I hear something in the effect of Larry Hama has his hand in it and he doesnt have restrictions, I am in no way gonna watch it. I mean, I like GI Joe but dont deface it. Hollywood has screwed up wayyyy too many movie adaptations. Hmmm let's list them: Rocky and Bullwinkle Tomb Raider The Phantom Hulk He-man Double Dragon Mortal Kombat (has a kick @ss soundtrack though) Street Fighter George of the Jungle I am sure there are more but that is all I can think of at the moment. X-men and Spiderman were pretty good adaptations of our comic book/comic/toy. But you get the gist. More bad adaptations than good ones. Only one in the middle was Resident Evil. It was ok. Lord only knows how Hollywood would screwup a Robotech live action movie...

How can you keep saving money when you keep spending it on Macross VFs? Sounds like an oxymoron. Anyways, my wallet is gonna hurt. I have 2 low vis and now in the process acquiring 2 more. Now we have the 1Js? Lord have mercy! Maybe I should not buy the other 2 low vis. <_<

Well, if you look at earlier pics of the Elint in fighter mode, you can see that the hardpoint was easy on the eyes. Take a look at the pic on HLJ's site, and you'll see what I mean. Yamato made it this big, fugly thing in the final product. Maybe, it wasn't strong enough, so they made it bigger. I'm not as anxious to get it or the SuperO as I used to be. Think I'll wait to see if they come down some because as of right now, I'm not paying full price for these disappointments. I'll also hang onto my Bandai Chunky Monkeys since I don't think the Yamatos blow them away. More money for 1/48 Fast Packs! I beg to differ on the Bandai. I think the Yamato 1/60 are much better that the Bandais. But I guess to each his own. I think the Yamato are much better than the MPCs, though.

I got mine mostly on Ebay. I got my 2nd Low vis from Big Bad Toy Store. Other macross stuff came from my local comic store.

I feel the pain. Believe I do. Wait till they get the VF-1J Max and Millia. And if they are FAST packed, oh boy... Good thing I have OT these past weeks.

If that is the case, great. My wallet needs a definite rest. I just bought another Low vis.

Look, I am talking bad about the 1/60s. They are not bad at all. It is that I dont need all these valks. Space is a premium. And I like the bigger 1/48s due to details. I mean, I love my 1/60 TRU cannon fodder. It is that right now I am thinking conservatively on money. Sure if money is no object, hell I would buy them. But I am saving for a house. (I dunno how, when I am buying transformers (reissues), old GI Joes, MPC Alphas, Destroids, etc, and now this new Athlon computer I am building ). Right now it isnt practical. The 1/60s gets dropped and 1/48s get priority. In some ways, I think the MPCs sucked compared to the 1/60s, but I bought them. I stopped buying the 1/60 and now I am going to sell/trade some of them off except the Cannon fodder one.
