  1. Alto super pack news! (And I hate to be the bare of bad news) Has this been brought up before? Source: http://www.amiami.com/shop/?vgForm=Product...ku=TOY-RBT-0587 see the red underline on second photo (a rough translation by yours truly)?. It seems that you NEED UNASSEMBLED VF-25F alto to fit in the Super pack! Other sources (dalong.net, and ruliweb) mentions that one may need to unassemble up to 1/3 of the kit in order to fit in the adopters for the super pack. ..........SON OF A BYTCH!! What about those of us who already finished and sealed the kit? BLUF (bottom line up front).,Those of us who already assembeld, painted, decaled, and sealed the kit.... might as well as get the new unassembled kit with the super pack. If there is someone else in this forum can translate Japanese better than me, pleeeeease tell me I am wrong!!
  2. Howdy!! Due to my untimely move, this item is on E-bay for rapid sale!! Good Luck! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=180317693301 Zebu
  3. Yes, I used very (VERY) thin layer of glue (I applied them just around the edges). I certainly used matte finishe on the model (I hate the shiny, plasticky look on banda models). I prefer battle tested, weathered look for models rather than "factory finished", "show room" glossy finish. Zebu
  4. Little bit. Still not as tight as I wish. Overall, the hip joints and the whole base area of thigh fits much better than Alto version.
  5. I tranformed about 15 times now. Those area with "crazy glue treatment" is holding up nicely. Only area with issues are the ones without crazy glue treatmetns such as knee-cap area (I over looked this area). Anyways I am very happy with the result. I recommand this method to anyone who wishes to "play" (not just diaplay only). Zebu

  9. Howdy! Here is Part 2 of 3 is up . http://gunplafederation.blogspot.com/2008/...art-2-of-3.html Enjoy Zebu
  10. Howdy! Par 2 of 3 for VF-25S progress is up on my blog . I'm basically done now but will work on costme made base next. Enjoy http://gunplafederation.blogspot.com/2008/...art-2-of-3.html Zebu
  11. One method I use is take all parts that need to be clear coated and secure them on large cardboard with double sided tape. Then spay on the clear coats. This way I can coat many peices at the same time with even paint consistancy. Also it is easier to keep trak/ensure ALL parts that need coating are coated. I used this method on my MG Stirke Freedom Gundam Repaint and Turn A Gundam Seriously... Don't worry too much about it and just try it first. All these questions and decision making will only confuse you more. Trial and error is the best way to go. Plus, most method we've all discussed, have means to reverse if should you made a mistake. Good luck Zebu
  12. LOL thanks edwin for confirming my claim that all you really need (the most taxing) for panel lining is your (inbelieveable amount of) patients... it is really not that hard. I usually do panel lining when I'm watching college footballs on the weekends LOL Zebu
  13. Hey Master Dex, Go here. http://cgi.ebay.com/Bandai-Gundam-Marker-f...A1%7C240%3A1318 Spend less $5 for GM with free shipping and just try it yourself. I promise you it is not that hard. It just take awhile to do. Good luck!! Zebu
  14. You are right! I don't like to fully paint the kit for two reasons 1. The panel line on this kit is way to shallow so I'm afriad it will disappear if I paint the whole thing. 2. I am too lazy LOL (probably the biggest reason)
  15. Howdy!! I begin to do some work on VF-25S. http://gunplafederation.blogspot.com/2008/...art-1-of-3.html I will work some more over the weekends so look for part 2 sometime next wek. Zebu
  16. Howdy!! Part 1 of 3 is up !! http://gunplafederation.blogspot.com/2008/...art-1-of-3.html Enjoy Zebu
  17. Howdy all, As some of you may already know, I've recently built and sold VF-25F Alto Custom (Thanks edwin3060). As I mentioned it here, I love to build gundam models and been doing it for a while now. Anyways, after the posting, I received many MANY questions regarding panel lines, sticker applications and/or other simple building/finishing techniques. So, here they are. This is just introductory post to discuss the main points that will be discussed. I will go over 1. Panel lining 2. Partial painting of kit 3. Sticker application 4. Weathering techniques Please keep in mind that all my posting will favor those who wish to get it done with minimal experiences so IF you are experienced builder with equipments and techniques that most of can not match, then please keep the comment to yourself (I am sure most of agree, that some of us just don't have kind of time and/or money to rise to professional builder's level) Having said that, here is my blog with my latest work http://gunplafederation.blogspot.com/2008/...urn-gundam.html I built Turn A Gundam to show the basic concept for prepping the model kit before building it (panel lining and seal applications). Similar techniques will be applied to VF-25S. I will also post my VF-25S building tips on my blog as it becomes available. Thanks and will see you soon with some pictures!!!! Zebu
  18. Howdy, I got "Ozuma Custom" today (Thanks 'mustang1'). Also, for those of you who didn't know, there is this guy name 'dalong' out of Korea who does model kit review (straight build with panel lines and decal/stickers only, NO Painting) . Well, anyways, he updated the review for "Ozuma Custom" yesterday so check it out. http://dalong.net/review/etc/mf02/mf02_p.htm Now, after looking at his photo review plus confirming it with the kit I got today. I wanted to note couple of things. 1. There are some discrepancies of color scheme (indicated by the red arrows in the photo, these parts are grey in the kit. They should be white.) 2. Despite my concerns, the color separation for the head is excellent (There are just two very small spot that need to be white) 3. Head include some cool gimmicks (It folds) 4. The clear part in front of the fighter (below, forward) is still covered by light purple sticker. This part (and canopy) will need some clear coatings.. 5. Panel line fill and sticker application are must (check out the straight build without any panel lines and stickers applied YUCK!!! ) I will post the completed model when it is done (Don't know what that will be though) Thanks Zebu
  19. Howdy, YES VF-0S (Focker version) and all three SV-51 are in this game (Sand color, Nora version, and Ignov version) are in this game. However, Macross Zero version Roy Focker, Nora, Ignov are not in the game. I hope this help -Zebu-
  20. Howdy!! I don't know if anyone already mention this in the past but.. You can pick up Boxes while in GERWALK mode. "Why would you do that?" you might ask... well.. it saves time because you are much faster and mobile then in battroid mode. O.K lets get to "HOW TO" 1. Start as Battroid. 2. Press R button (or down direction+ R if there are multiple enemies on the screen) to lock on the box. 3. Press L button to line your Battroid to box then transform to GERWALK. This will obviously cause your VF to fly toward the box. 4. Right before your VF reaches the Box, press L button. Your VF should turn and pick up the box while in GERWALK mode. 5. Now, move to the target area (green zone if you will) and press primary weapon button to release. I got SS on all the box missions because I saved so much time moving boxes in GERWALK mode (Especially if you maxed the mobility and speed of your VF). You can use boost to move even faster to save more time. Enjoy
  21. I found this on the web. Have ya'll seen this photo of VF-25? I believe this is the latest. Zebu
  22. 1/72 prototype pics. Things that concern me are these series of "fixed" hands and landing gears I hope hands and landing gears are not required to be removed in order to transform. -ZEBU
  23. I know I am playing "Devil's advocate" here, I am just trying to get my hopes up by saying it out loud so don't mind me (Also, keep in mind all these speculations are hypothetical...so don't yell at me o.k?) So here it goes.. What would you do if you are Bandai and want to make profit? As I said it before, If I was Bandai, I would not release just "Super Pack (correct name for fast pack from MF)" or "Armor Pack" separately without Valkyrie. I really would tap into consumer mentalities out there that goes "well, original release was cheap enough to by 1.5 yamato VFs so it kinda evens out" and buy another VF-25 with armor pack. Keep in mind that BANDAI is a corporation not a charity organization.. I highly doubt that they are concerned about what the consumers. Unless of course those disregards of consumer’s opinion lead to nose dive of their sales.... again, it will be driven to make profit, not to do "good deeds" to fan.... Like I said before, it is good that I am not the BANDAI. I truly hope that I am wrong and will end up eating my own words (for I pre-ordered VF-25s from HLJ myself). Zebu
  24. Well based on the track records of "Bandai Business tactics" I would go with intial release with fast pack and later release of Armor pack. However it is unlikely that they will release just "fast pack" and "armor pack". In other words, one may have to buy two VF-25 in order to have both fast pack and armor pack. Unless, Bandai release VF-25 alto version with fast pack only and VF-25s with Armor pack only. Then those of us who bought both of them can interchange the fast pack and armor pack.... either way, it is unlikely that Bandai will release "sold seperately" version of fast pack or armor pack. They are really good (and bad for us) at releasing different versions of toys in the way to limit customers ability to buy very specific parts. IMO, that is reason why we see the upcoming model's price much lower than that of Yamatos. Here is what I would do if I was BANDAI.... "Lets sell better quality VF's at about 75% cost of Yamatos, but only give the customers choice of buying either fast pack set or Armor pack, that way they are force to buy both to complete the set, so that we make our profit buy outselling Yamato models by 2:1 ratio, which, will ultimately lead to 150% gain when compare to releasing one set with fast pack and armor pack at 100% same marketing price as Yamato..." It is good thing I am NOT BANDAI... LOL Zebu
  25. * Spoiler Warning!* Alto With Armor pack is used in EP 14. Knowing Bandai with their normal business tactics, they will more than likely release them later rather than with original release... This was demonstrated many times in their Gundam-line figures and kits. Here are some examples: 1. MG Gundam Seed Series= Strike Gundam was originally released in 1/100 Master's grade then later Intergrated Weapon System (IWP), sword and luncher system was released 2. MG Zaku from Original and later Series= Originally released in early 90's then Version 2.0 released in 2006 ish. Since then its been released again and again as Zaku Char's version, Zaku black star, Zaku Mine layer, etc etc etc.... 3. MG ZZ Gundam Series= ZZ gundam released, then released ZZ Gundam Full Armor version (as they did in the series). Oh well, it is really not relevent because after all the bitchin', some of us (I for one) will end up buying them all.... Now, to end this post on a happy note, here are some pictures of new "Alto Armor pack" Zebu
