I thought the point of this release is so that the bare plastic is covered with paint, therefore negating the plastic yellowing. At least that's what I like about the YF-29 Alto reissue, and (I think?) what they did with the DX VF-1 releases. But now looking at the WWM VF-25 release, it seems like it's bare plastic with matte coat. Hopefully it is a UV cut matte coat? A Ozma reissue wouldn't have the same issue since the base color is gray, and it's the glossiness that bothers me most.

I'm afraid even gray plastic is not immune to yellowing. I have Ozma's renewal, and some parts have also yellowed....

    I don't think you're a completionist. You forgot Arad's Supers.ย :spiteful:

I can live without Arad's supers, since he has the armored parts. I just don't like the idea that only Chuck's valk is naked in the Delta Platoon. ๐Ÿ™‚

What about a new 171 (that was shown in the series), 262 Ba, Aradโ€™s 31a, etc.. Did you also forget those @brouken?ย :nea:

Ah, now we're going beyond being completionist into serious OC territory, haha! Of the ones you mentioned, the 262 Ba would be the most sensible for me to get. Arad's 31a would be the most attractive though. But then you would need their respective super packs...which would bring me back to square one. So, just Chuck's supers for me please, thank you! ๐Ÿ˜„

  3. While I'm a fan of the matte finish, I'm having a hard time justifying getting this considering I have all the Frontier Skull Squadron renewals and their respective super/tornado/armored packs (which MW member wouldn't? Hehe!) Considering also that my Alto has yellowed significantly, I'm afraid to invest in another one which will most likely yellow away too in several years' time. Unless Bandai used a different kind of plastic for this one...

  4. Well, milking a very expensive mold is logical from a business standpoint. I forgot who in this thread explained the very tedious process of setting up a factory to produce molds for a complicated toy like Metal Builds. And the factory set up is paid for by the manufacturer for only a set period of time. So yeah, Bandai will milk the mold. ๐Ÿ˜„

Apart from the Crossbones, any U.C. era Metal Build would be most welcome. I'd really like to see what Bandai's Metal Build division will do with transforming Gundams. The Metal Robot Damashii Zeta Ka Ver. is the best iteration of that MS so far. I'd like to see it and the Double Zeta in the MB format.
