  1. I was contemplating pre-ordering the Roy from HLJ and just decided to place my order today since I will be able to cancel it anyway if I change my mind. But guess what happened, it's gone!! It's discontinued now at HLJ It could be possible that Yamato may release the TV Version instead so that could be the reason why HLJ has places the DYRL Roy as discontinued and may put a new link for the TV Roy, since you can't consider them both the same.
  2. It would be good if they do release the TV series version. Those who missed out on the Roy will get another chance to buy one and those who paid more recently will feel better as its a slightly different vf-1s.
  3. A supplier in the Phillipines also claimed that the Roy VF-1S is going to be re-issued again around November. So it could be true now since HLJ has it on being re-stock in December. Here's the Link again for the supplier from Phillipines. http://greattoys.proboards18.com/index.cgi...&num=1092891604
  4. Yup, the strike are better if you want the fastpacks versions. The arm fastpacks stays on unlike the super version.
  5. Have a look at Valkyrie Factory website. He has some pictures on it.
  6. Greattoys who is a seller in the Phillipines just posted on his forum that the VF-1S Roy will be re-released this November. This is his post from his Forum. http://greattoys.proboards18.com/index.cgi...&num=1092891604 Hope it's true.
  7. Try this link: http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/index_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=101 That should be the main page at Hobby Search. Then do a search for Yamato Macross at their website.
  8. No worries I do hope it's true though as the Max is becoming harder to find now of days at a good price.
  9. Hey Connor99, Yes I read that post and it's referring to the VF-1S and not the Max and Hikaru and besides I am just pointing out what I saw at Hobby Search.
  10. Just going through Hobby Search Website and I noticed they put the VF-1A Max and VF-1J Hikaru with Fast Packs as being Re-Released and you can reserve them now. Has anyone heard whether this is gonna happened? Oh yeah before I forget here's the link of the website. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/gundam/index_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=109 Do a search on Yamato Macross
  11. My Bad. Just saw an old post on it. Sorry Mods. Please feel free to delete/lock this post. Link to old post. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...ax%20q-rau&st=0
  12. Just going through HLJ and I noticed that Max Q-Rau is priced at 9800 Yen and Millia at 12800 Yen. Seems a bit weird that Yamato would charge them at different prices.
  13. Definetly going to get one too. Maybe two. Never know whether Yamato will release a perfect larger version. And if they do will get that too. If these were the first Macross toys to be released by Yamato we would probably jump on it. But we have been spoiled with the 1/48 VF-1 line.
  14. I recalled Obi Wan actually saying he never seen those droids before but i could be wrong. It's been a while since I last watch it. I know there is a possibility that we may see the VF-1 as I never said that we won't. Just stating the fact that Roy said in SDF that he hasn't been in battle for 2 years and the VF-1 were the new UN fighters. But then again Compendium said Mac Zero is set a year before SDF so there still may be a chance which I do hope we will.
  15. I do hope to see the VF-1 in ep 5 but some how i doubt it. Currently watching Macross: SDF. I noticed that in one of the early episodes of the SDF series (could be the first episode) Roy mention that he hasn't been in battle for 2 yrs and the VF-1 are the UN new fighters. But in the Compendium Macross Zero is set at a year before SDF so then again there is still hope we may see the VF-1. Stuff like this tend happen when you make prequels just like star wars as in episode 4 when obi said he never seen those droids (C3-PO & R2-D2) when he has in Episode 1 & 2.
  16. I just downloaded episode 4 and also got the choppy video playback. To those who still are not able to fix this problem download k-lite codec pack. I had the old version and just updated it and everything works fine after that. Here's the link http://www.k-litecodecpack.com It contains most codec including the XVID ones.
  17. I know I am a bit slow in getting this but I just got my shipping confirmation from EzyDvd today. Hooray!! Can't wait for it to arrive. For those who are still interested in getting the Australian version, EzyDvd have drop their price to A$119.95. Here's the link. http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/226180 And for Aussie buyers, shipping is free via courier services.
  18. No for me. Just bought the VF-1S Focker Re-Issue, VF-1S Hikaru, VF-1J with Fast Packs and another set of Fast Packs. So definetly no for now. Maybe later in the year.
  19. Yup in 20 years time when they re-issue Macross stuff again. But seriously, I do hope to see Yamato make them in the 1/48 soon. It's just that I don't think this will happen for a while as they are probably concentrating on the VF-0 for now. Maybe after that.
  20. There's a much higher possibility that Yamato will produce a CF next rather than re-issuing the Low Vis. If they do re-issue they would probably change a few things to it like no panel lines and weathering, plus some other stuff just to make it look different a bit, just like the 1/60 CF and TRU. But I doubt we will see it re-issued as others has said it a limited production.

    Larger Scale VF-0

Thanks ewilen and Thanks to all for participating in this poll. I know there's a lot of possibilities to put into this poll, but I prefer to just keep it simple. Plus I was tempted to put a 1/1 scale in, but if I did that everyone would have chosen that. As for me I am not too particular in the size as long as it looks good and the pricing is reasonable base on the scale that it will be released in. If they do release it in the 1/48 I will probably just pick up the VF-0S, but if they released it in a smaller scale like 1/60 or 1/72 I will be able to buy more and hence will pick up the VF-0S, VF-0A & VF-0D. I probably will be getting those three in the 1/100 scale anyway.

    Larger Scale VF-0

Hi all, This is my first poll. I decided to make one up as some of us are hoping for a 1/48 scale VF-0 and some of us just find that won't happened due to it's size. Actually I was thinking of a poll more in the lines of what scale you think Yamato will release, but decided to stick to this. Hope I set the poll up correctly.
  24. If they do make a 1/48 scale VF-0 it might cost quite a bit, maybe around the $200 mark. Not to mention for the VF-1 line Yamato was able to make 7 variants with one mould not counting the different heads, plus there's still a possibility for other variants. As for the VF-0, so far u can only produce 2 variants (ie VF-0A & VF-0S for one mould and modifying that mould to make the VF-0D Shin & VF-0D normal). Of course I wouldn't mind they do it but Yamato may not want to take the risk. Also Q-Rau doesn't transform so they are able to make it big, while keeping the cost down as the parts may not be as complex as a VF-1 or VF-0.
  25. I agree with you JawJaw. There's always still a possibility Yamato may not make a larger VF-0. We have to remember Yamato caters to the Japan market and it will depend on how well the VF-0 line does there. If it becomes a success, plus Yamato is able to allocated resources to the Zero line, than we will probably see a larger scale. But I don't think it will be this year. Earliest in my opinion will be next year as Yamato will probably release most of the Macross Zero products in the 1/100 scale before announcing a larger version. And to those who think Yamato will release a 1/48 VF-0, I doubt that will happen as its just too big. 1/48 VF-0 will be like almost 40cm long in fighter mode. The 1/48 VF-1 is about 30cm. Most likely we will see a 1/60 or 1/72 scale or some other new scale if Yamato decided to release it.
