Thanks alot for the info I will be puting togther a 1/100 Bandai Roy's VF-1J ,Transformable I know to most of you its a piece of crap inferior to your Hasegawa $80.00 or $200.00 Resin kits But it is my first Macross kit/ semi complex plane I have a custom paint job in mind its not going to be white will try the acrylic base with a grey emanel with emnale thinner to wash it and the Mech pencil I just got is .30mm Pentel it is the smallest I could find and Markers & pens come in a 0.25mm is the smallest I will test the wash method and pencil and markers for the big lines on my upcoming build should be finished in by thanksgiving

A crappy little $5 RX-78-2 Gundam HG I used a Acrylic grey paint on a non painted surface on the arms lines and shogun mouth I wipped with A minneral spirits thinner a few lines did not have uniform thickness still looked good it worked very good on deep vents and weird shapes the wiping removed some gloss shine from the parts the marker filled the valley perfectly So I should use a water paint and water it down I have no idea what I'm doing I was planing on using Duplicolor spraypaint for my valk 1/100 pannel line it with a paint but I sensed that somthing was wrong when the surface color was coming off pencil seems fool proof like the marker

I would like to know if any of you use writing insturments like markers or ink pens for panel lining ? Ink is permenate but can smear if you fall out of the line I recently got a 0.25mm Marker it was delicate I ended up breaking it and returned it for another one I pressed a bit hard and tryed moving it like a roller ball point pen I did a 1/144 gundam a month ago Used brush painted the line then with thinner & flat straight cotton paper I scraped of ecesse paint It turned out okay the thinner took shineyness away from some parts I used the the marker for the arms legs feet but the mouth mask has three lines above the trademark goetee used paint/ thinner techniqe I was looking at a japanese Pentel engineering pencil with a 0.30mm point /needle point finding lead refills is going to be hard

It looks awsome , I don't see alot of camo or old school schemes around

I knew it was too good to be true I thought it they ment 1/4400 or 1/4000 They told me it is a backorderd bandai 1/8000 I don't know why they don't fix the description. They had some clearance stuff but its already been ravaged. I'll keep searching for a Macross fortress besides bandai

1/144 scale Macross kit by Kyokai Hyoshi manufactured by Bandai set to come out in few months? anyone got any info on this Kit is there mistake on the scale ? 1/4000???? I could watch the 2002 enhanced version for free but I want to see this bad ass HD version I got this 57" projection HD tv it is awsome to watch anime also there are downloadable eng/span subs can they be made to work with a DVD with a special editing or somthing The cheapest price I could get was $65.00 shipped 1 disk no artbook or the cover is the same comes in a clear box its got the same quality too. I hate Harmony Gold its all thier fault this never came over to the states

I liked the eng dub , I think they did a good job like mainstream animes like Death note & Eva its more about the actor being able to relay the emotion of the character on the screen. They are showing it for free on si-fi channel on mondays on a 2hour block called ani-monday. they show the OVA macross plus I always miss parts 1 3 &4 we got a dvd-r box now I can record them all now

I thought Japan was region region 2 I had to hack my parents dvd player and made it region zero/ it will play anything and it does so you say U.S PS3 can play Jap dvds & Blu rays but can it play PS2 jap games aswell or just ps3 japs beacuse I want to play yakuza 2 on ps2 yakuza 3 ps3 Gundam A.C looks cool to midnight wangan initital d and Macross DYRL on ps2 is spouse to be a good I saw footage these are like greatest hits and are around $30 shipped on ebay I want to know beacuse I want a Ps3 with metal gear 4 is $600 it would be an investment to get a ps3 that can play Blu rays and dvds in hd & ps2games
