Problem is with surging Covid cases in the US the shipping situation could be even worse by release.  We haven't been handling Covid well and I don't see it changing until there's a vaccine. Praying for a miracle.

Crazy, I've never caught a preorder on any of these Valks and was just trying to que up the pages and saw it on NY. I didn't think it was real so I took my time to try and check out. DAMM!

Damm, I took to long to checkout. Missed it. I'm kicking myself for debating on which type of shipping.

While my mom's surgery and radiation therapy are now over, she is still experiencing some weakness and lack of vitality due to the lingering side-effects of the radiation.  She also might have incurred some skin cancer due to the aforementioned radiation therapy (will be seeing a doctor in 2 weeks to get that looked at).  Mom is now on chemo therapy (which has its own slew of side-effects), and will be for quite some time.

Given her current health and my need to help care for her, I unfortunately doubt I can attend Thursday night's event.  (sigh)

However, I do hope that everyone here on MWF will be able to get their VF-1S pre-orders in successfully!

I struck out w/ 1A and 1S.  Even though I ended up w/ neither I thought I had a better chance w/ 1A. I can only imagine how bad it'll be when Skull leader comes out. I guess I better get my wallet ready for the upcharge.

BTW, my cart is still spinning on HLJ from the night before. lol. I'm going to close the window now.

Maybe we'll get lucky? Maybe Bandai did produce more of these than the last run? Maybe there were more scalpers who pre-ordered than fans? Maybe 1A won't be as popular as 1J? Maybe more of us will not stand for overpriced mark ups? All this would help the price drop. If we all unite and say no to the scalpers the price will drop. At the end of the day we do set the price. My fingers are crossed for finding a reasonably priced one.

I use ebates all the time, it works on a lot of major stores and it's run by Rakuten. What's great about it is you get cash quarterly vs ebay bucks or Rakuten points. Lots of times it works in conjunction but some coupons make you pick to use it or ebates.

Thanks for the headsup, preordered on Amazon. Last nights Max preorder sucked! I kept getting kicked out after payment on multiple sites. I've been tired all day w/ nothing to show for it until now.

If it was 10 minutes I would have gotten 1. I think it was more like 1min.
