Bandai 1/60 DX VF-25 transformable toy thread
Dashgtr replied to David Hingtgen's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Hey, Relax man, I know how you feel, BTW it's your own point of view dun take it to heart what the rest said. There's no 100% everybody agreeing on the same thing. My point of view is that Bandai makes toys that are fun to play with but not really to scale (doesn't really look that good) Where as Yamato makes nice looking toys (for adults to play and with care) I remember my first Bandai VF1S DYRL Hikaru, at that time it's the best toy I ever have, later when the Roy came out I got it too and not regrets it's still good. But when time past and I grew older, I think to myself how nice if macross can come out a more detailed VF1 series. Yamato first relased the 1/60 but hated the transformation by having to detached the legs. But in term of looks it looks better just not as fun. Not long after the god answered my prayers, Yamato release the 1/48 and wow it brought macross back from the grave. Although the price is high but it's worth it. Something which looks good, detail, fun to play with and post. It's almost prefect. And instead of improving for Bandai they just release the same old thing (only with the head changed) but QC is bad comparing to the past. I collect both Bandai and Yamato toys as long as it's macross and I love it. We are all macross fans here, of course we wants the toys to be as closed to the real thing as possible but it takes alot of time and effort so why not meanwhile lets just wait and see the actual product before making any harmful commands. -

I have ordered one of this weathering special 4 months back from Angolz, but hearing some news here claiming that it's not the original from yamato so I decide to cancel my order a month ago. It's stated that they will give a full refund i goods are not shipped yet. Till now I have yet to get my refund back. Have anyone one encounter the same problem as me?

I have some pics of the 2 vol of Chronicles the coupons have been cut before I took all this but managed to take the form before it was cut. The first 2 pics are the Macross Chronicles vol 1 & 2. The 3rd pic is where the coupon used to be but was cut before i manage to take a picture. It's the last page of the vol 1 mag. The 4th pic is where the form is and cut. It's the last page of the vol 2 mag. The last pic is the front and back of the form, 1 for Max and the other for Hikaru. Hope it helps.

So far has anyone bought their weathering special VF-1S Roy Focker from Angloz Store, and received it? Just want to check if it's the same (In term of the packaging, the blue cover and the valkyrie) as the japan release.

I have encountered some Problems with the forum like me unable to recieve my PMs and ppl too unable to receive mine, and the site seems to be down over the wkend. Therefore I have yet to receive any reply from 2 member who said to be interested in the MAX. So I might be able to take in 2 more MAX if anyone is interested. But I need a reply fast as the cut off date is over 2 days ago but still possible to make it.

I got mine from Yahoo Japan Auction and Boy do I have to go through a lot of ppl to get it. And the total cost is more then predicted. Before bidding I have to pay for the register on a Yahoo Premium account 1000 Yen, with a Japan credit card and information. After register, Bid the Item for 45,000yen and won it. TT the money to japan an addition 10-15% (I think) bank charges here and there in japan depending. Postage only in japan so have to send to my friends house and postage is on buyer so all and all add up to 50,000+ yen I lost count. It's very troublesome. And now only to wait for my friend to bring back to me and I have to treat her so might be close to 60,000 yen in the end.

Bad news! Max is confirm only to be delivered end of Feb 2009 which is like almost like 6-7 months away and you have to pay first and wait. They have to repaint the body but apply the new head and repackage into the new box. The good news is that this is confirm a made to order Valkyie which will only be avaliable for order when purchase of the 2 vol. of Macross Chronicle magazine, which makes it special and 1 of the last few 1/48. (This is for the Max TV version.) So as long as you have the coupon and form(and a jap contact) you will confirm be able to get it. The price stated on the form: (MAX) 17,640 Yen + 1000 Yen (Made to order) (Hikaru) 26,040 Yen + 1000 Yen (Only if you are the lucky 250)

Shops In Singapore?
Dashgtr replied to VUE's topic in Where to Buy Macross, Auctions & Dealers Specials
Hey, Which macross are you looking for...? Falcon Hanger, Far east Plaza, etc sells them too but depends which you are looking at different place sells different price and some have the older stock and others the newer ones. Pre orders for the newer ones you can do it at Either Falcon's Hanger located at Waterloo or Toyntoys located at China Square. U Toys too have them. So it all goes down to what you are looking for. -

Hi guys, I'm just trying to help out as much as I can for those whose wants the MAX TV version. And I've also set a limit to myself by just ordering 5 sets 1 for myself that is. But I have receive a few more request therefore I try to increase my order to the max I can take ( too much money involved) which is 10 - 1 for myself. So far it's all been reserved. So i guess I have to said sorry to those I've not PM. Like I said before I'll try my best but no promises. This coming wkend is the wonder fest summer, need to see what is Yamato offering, in case if they release the MAX for sale and it's cheaper to get online (I doubt so) then maybe I will advice you guys to get it there saving the hassel of shipping here too many times.
