  1. As far I can tell, there is not way to work transformation into changing unit behavior. The swapping of unit behavior only has the visible effect of changing squadron formation. There are probably other changes but I have never seen my units perform differently when set to aggressive or defensive. it probably affects their chase and engagement range however.
  2. Very interesting job. I like what I see. I actually modded Homeworld2 for a good bit last year. It is really amazing sometimes, but a pain to get somethings to work. My primary area of psuedo expertise involves HOD and hardpoint stuff. My greatest achievment had to be my retooling of the FS2 mod into the campaign of HW2. The campaign looked a lot more interesting and I psuedo balanced the races. It was the Terrans vs the Vasudans instead of the shivans because their bloody ships were too powerful. Any way I might be able to help a little bit. But good work never the less.

  4. Thanks, all though I was really interested in find VF models, the ghost will work just fine. Too bad you won't be modeling more because they are really nice.
  5. I started to really heavily mod HW2 a while back starting with my own changes to various ships and weapons. I got more advanced and started to change actual ships with the HOD editors and then I got a crazy idea into my head partially as a result of watching the new frontier to make new projectiles. While searching for new projectiles I got the freespace 2 mod for HW2 and got a new crazy idea. I swapped nearly the entire Hiigaran and Vaygr fleet with Terran and shivan fleets, the shivans being unbalanced swiftly became the vasudans. I overcame the docking path problems and learned to make my own as well as solving building production modules issues. I eventually played through the campaign with these changes and it was fun, but kinda boring and the ship models were essentially direct ports of the original and lacking on quality. I saw some of the models you guys have created and I was really wondering if could at least release the models for the rest of us to experiment with? I can even work on the hardpoints are that would help. The only thing I can't really deal with in engine trails and paths due to my lack of 3d modeling program. HOD editors can only take you so far.
  6. For some reason Alto's expression at the end of the episode really amuses me. Perhaps its that you got owned look on his face when he just can't seem to escape certain people. Also the fact that both are practically stalking him might be another.
  7. The episode while not as cool as the prior one, was quite funny. I have only seen the raw but from what I saw its basically a filler episode. However fun episodes are nice every now and then. As for the squirrel thing, it reminds of carbunkle and is awesome. Ranka should name it foamy.
  8. I just had a funny thought. While watching the episode again, it occured to me that perhaps the reason for shooting the Alto's gunpod was that they were located underneath the ships reactor, fold thing whatever. I think the dude in the Vf-27 didn't want the ship to go boom with him on it. Just a thought anyway. A theory based on a subbed version I saw. Reading up on the thread and watching Macross plus again, perhaps its another fighter challenge in which the NUNS fighter is being compared to the SMS private fighter. However if true the 27 beats the 25 hands down.
  9. Its funny but I just noticed that the face plate of the Vf-27 resembles the face of the big red bugs. I didn't occur to me until I saw a good part of the face portion. Also the giant purple crystal is what makes of the capital ships giant ass cannon.
