Shin disappeared with the VF-0 at the end, I thought? Thus he and Mao couldn't have gotten together (not that adult Shin would get with 11-year-old Mao anyway)

Was it just me, or did anyone else notice that nowhere during the episode did they mention the last name of Sara and Mao? It'd seem like the whole name would be a big deal, to me, especially with... well, y'know, SHERYL HAVING THE SAME LAST NAME! My guess? Perhaps Sheryl's the only direct descendant, but Ranka's somehow related (Ranka is confirmed to have more Zentran blood than anything, rather than Sheryl who has ALPHA type blood.)

Didn't it state at one point that S.M.S. stood for Shinsei Military Sciences, or something like that? IE: Shinsei Industries became the S.M.S. later on?

Wow. I have to find that version of Aimo. Here's to when the OST comes out. Time to import, baby! Brera definitely reacted to the song Sheryl was singing. 'Kore wa...' would be 'That's...' Enjoyed the episode. Must know more about what's going on. Interesting that the purple VF moves in an odd way; notice it's contrail turns on angles, which is odd.

I don't think that's necessarily true. I think Mikhail and Klein simply stated that it was a Zentraedi battlefield from 7000 years ago. The assumption would fit that the Vajra blew them up, but we really don't know.

Wow. Shin Kudo's probably such a minor thing in the Macross World, at least it would've seemed. With them making his 'legend' into a movie, I wonder what it'll entail. A retelling of the Bird-Human battle? Also, they could just be using VF-27 as the designation for the episode spoilers; it could not be called that at all by characters in the series. But we won't know til it happens. I'm still trying to puzzle out some things involving Brera Sterne. I am interested in seeing where things go with him. Perhaps Vajra infiltrator, or if there is a civil war in the NUNS currently, infiltrator from a potential third faction? Though it really doesn't explain why a VF is inside of a Vajra ship, fighing as if it WERE a Vajra. Perhaps some descent from the VF-0 or something, since Shin's VF-0 went with him wherever he went, developed by the things controling the Vajra?
