  1. Thanks for the pics Areaseven. The plastic seems atrocious but would love one as an "aggressor" for my yammies to shoot and dismantle. Every time I take a look at the battroid form I keep getting drawn to the "splitdick" nosecone. :o

  2. One question that I've had since I started playing it, though... and I'll use spoiler tags for anyone who hasn't finished the first one or started this one.

So you become the arl of Rendon Howe's lands and use his estate as a command post for the Grey Wardens. That's all well and good, but if the Howe's killed your family in the human noble origin to take the Cousland's lands, what became of your old family estate? Is that never answered?

IIRC they were given to be ruled by your brother at the epilogue of the main campaign.

Awakening is a pretty fun ride, they made the gameplay more fun with the new skills and better mission design.

The only let downs were the horrid runecrafting interface and pretty dismal end boss fight(the mid campaign Zap-dragon fight was pretty fun though).

  3. My long awaited VF-22s Gamlin (held off the purchase since it first got released last year) finally arrived, one week SAL from HK. Pretty quick.

Am I the only one who takes it around for a zoom after releasing it from the box, while it's STILL in its plastic shell? :D

This thing is a KEEPER!! ^_^

  4. I'm thinking the next possible toys from Yamato could be (non-transforming) UN Spacy F-14X (and maybe Anti-UN MiG-29?). They could re-use some of these same missiles (can't recall if Shin's F-14 had Phoenix missiles or not?)

I don't recall seeing any AIM-54 fins on his jet, but he fired winders and AMRAAMs for sure.

EDIT: Yea his load was 6 AMRAAMS and 2 Winders. If Yamato made the F-14s I'll probably get two, :D

  5. Hi MW!

I voted for the Zero, as i think it's the one most grounded in reality(ok that sounded rather silly). But IMO it's the most ungundam-like valk(VF-25s being on the other end of the spectrum, but i still love em :p) out there that extrudes a warbird feeling. It's robust, built for war, and have a huge list of compromises which gives it a certain aura of vulnerability that only pure pilot talent can make up for.

Or maybe it's coz my first yammie is a Zero :p

    Cheers
