I've ordered a handful of items from LunaPark and received everything and in a timely manner. Oddly enough my Macross items were packaged well, but my recent order (Gundam item) was shipped only in two DHL bags and a little bubble wrap (IIRC). It's a miracle that item arrived in good shape. I'd use them again, but I'd say packaging seems to be the only concern (consistency in how careful items are packed from my perspective).

Anyone know roughly how much shipping will be for something like the vf31ax from Luna Park?

Not sure if this was discussed earlier, but wanted to ask of anyone has a PO with Nippon for the 1st batch release of strike parts and is still waiting for it to be shipped.  I preordered this thing like a year ago.  When 1st batch was released last year and I didn't get shipping notification, thought ok, guess I can wait till 2nd release.  Now 2nd release has come and gone, still no shipping notification.  Anyone in the same boat? I've opened a ticket with Nippon but no response so far.

Any info here would be appreciated.

I  got an update from Nippon and unfortunately, my SV-51 has the defect.  Here's what Nippon said:

I created a ticket asking them to check to make sure my item is ok before they ship and this is the response I got:

Seems like they revamped their site.

All I had to do was login and now everything works normally.

anyone know what's wrong with amiami.com (their global site)?

amiami.jp seems to work fine.

amiami.com shows the items but when you click on it, it says "item not found" for everything.

That must of been a huge box if you had 2 maxs and 3 monsters?

It appears that they shipped it out in two boxes cause I got two tracking links.

I'm in a similar situation.

I selected SAL during preorder (2 Roy's, each with stand) and was charged 22 for shipping.

I got an email about 3 weeks ago asking me for $25 more for shipping.

I opened a ticket asking why my shipping has more than doubled. Requested for shipping weight also.

Now it's 3 weeks later and all I got from them so far is "box is bigger than expected so we need more money".

Anyone know what the shipping for 2 Roy's with stand should cost when using SAL?

The two pieces you mentioned, B10 and B11, those are exactly the two pieces I'm having difficulty with.

I can't figure out a good way to get those pieces off without damaging them.

Anyone know a good way to remove those pieces?

I think I might just use a flat blade tool to very carefully pry the two main pieces of the backpack slightly open and just wedge the flap in.

Vi-RS, I definitely feel your pain!.

Mine looks to be a genuine assembly error by Yamato because both of the hinges on my 1D are intact. It basically looked like someone forgot to put the flap on during assembly.

I own the Max and Ben(Kakizaki?) TV version also, so I know the flaps don't just fall off.

I just bought a brand new VF-1D 1/60 30th anniversary Perfect transformation Valkyrie with option parts off of ebay.

I was super happy when I got it in the mail today.

However, when I started to transform the toy, I noticed that the flap on the back pack was missing.

I posted it a while back and got some good advice from the people here. I was able to mod my 1a max without any major problems.

Now's it is wearing my vf1j fast pack and looking pretty bad ass.

Well, I finally decided to do the mod and I'm happy to say that I now have a super vf-1a Max. (wearing the armor from my super vf-1j) My cuts are rough but the fast pack fits snugly and doesn't fall off or anything like that.

I have to say, the max vf-1a looks infinitely better with the fast pack on.

I have a max vf1a and the holes on the legs are not really holes but more like round indentations. So has anyone actually successfully drilled holes into the metal legs?

I did notice that the round indentations on the side of the legs are misaligned. The ones on the back of the legs seems okay on the left leg but slightly misaligned on the right leg, as someone already pointed out.
