  1. I just realized something...I didn't blink one time during that update! Keep on rollin' MT!
  2. Good Lord, MT, even your controller design is a work of art!! Still watching & waiting patiently...
  3. Jorge, my condolences again, bro. Seems like when it rains it pours, and it has certainly rained on you this past year, and unfortunately, into this new year. Knowing how close your grandmother and grandfather were, I can only imagine the level of grief that she must have been experiencing due to his untimely absence. God knows best, and only the Creator knows how much we can bear. So I hope & pray (and truly believe) that your grandmother has rejoined her beloved in a much better & tranquil place. Take comfort in that bro., and know that she is no longer here suffering and is at peace. Don't let anything keep you from clinging even closer to your faith in this trying time. Take all the time you need to heal spiritually, emotionally, and physically. And as I've told you many a time before, this hobby takes a backseat to real life, so don't feel pressured into any hasty MACROSS related projects. We'll be here; and we'll be respectful and patient while you work things out. We would want the same courtesy if we were in your shoes. Love you much & take care bro.
  4. I just cannot believe what I'm seeing! This is the bee's knees, the cat's meow, and any other crazy saying that I can't think of right now! MT, you have truly blessed this Christmas with this update! Keep the faith, and stay the course, because the goal line is in sight!
  5. I've held my peace long enough...this is pure and utter engineering genius at work here! I've followed this thread from early on, and all I can say is B A D A $ $! Whatever you do MT, make sure that the Japanese publications get a gander at this cause I can see this in Model Graphix, Hobby Japan, Newtype, and just about any other trade of note. I can't give you kudos enough on this herculean undertaking, other than to say that the day you complete this will be will be almost akin to what occured on Nov. 4, 2008...historic!
  6. like i said before, you have mad skills; i'm following this thread as long as you keep it going.
  7. Now that's a nice looking sculpt. looks more anime accurate. quality as usual, impeccable work from talented hands; masterful work again bro!
  8. hornet you're right...i forgot her original Macross name Lasalle! got some changes to make to my profile. thanks hornet.
  9. thanks wolf, my bad. i really do need to check around here more often than i do.
  10. if you missed it the first time, i just saw this at HLJ again; http://www.hlj.com/product/YMT00050
  11. Hey Kicker, where did you get that claudia grant figure from?
  12. mad skillz, pardna! that is the hotness!! please feel free to do more & keep embellishing.
  13. thanks for the links miriya, but i've seen all of these hands and they are fixed pose indeed. one last question aurascope; and this will determine whether i'm in or not...will you be using the super strong resin, or the cheapest grade you can find to do the recasting? because it does make a difference & time will reveal which option you inevitably go with. be as honest, open, and candid as you can be, cause right now, i'm feeling this.
  14. say miriya, where on HLJ do you think you saw these hands, if you can remember? under what category or phrase did you type in?
  15. are these hands the same size as the 1/48 standard (chicken) hands, or a little larger? and will you do different colors or just valk white for customizing? inquiring minds wanna know...
  16. Jorge I am so sorry to hear that, bro. Know that my prayers are with you & your family thru this unfortunate event. If there's anything you need that I can be of help with, don't fail to ask. Take care and hold steadfast to your faith.
  17. Jorge, your dedication to what you love to do is enviously admirable. If not for the efforts of guys like yourself and others, this hobby of mine would be a lonely, little niche thing I did all by my lonesome (save for my homeboy Chris). Our correspondences have been extreme bright spots in what could have been dull and boring weeks. Having said all that, I want you to keep this one thing clearly in mind...none of this is as important as your health. I repeat; your health is paramount to anything you want to do in your, and your family & friends, life. I know that you have the dedication and desire to complete all of the orders that lay before you in as timely a manner as possible, but remember that you are only one person. You have a life beyond "this thing of ours", and your priorities should be yourself first, family second, and everything else afterwards. To all of those who have ordered parts from SD, but don't have the patience to wait for quality, please have some compassion for what this brother is going through. He is literally putting his health at risk just so we can have some really cool items that no one else in the aftermarket is providing. God forbid, something should happen to Jorge that prevented him from doing anymore recasting either professionally or personally; just a loss of resin add-on parts for us, but a real life changing event for him. Let the man recoup & regroup & reassess how best to go about continuing what he has a true passion for doing. I know that you have the maturity, the respect, and the patience to give him this courtesy...besides, who else will step up to the challenge in his absence? Much love to you for what you're trying to do! Take care, take time, & get well bro.
  18. I think I've drooled long enough now...goodness gracious, that is as bad & badder than I thought it would be!!! Perfect composition, perfect lighting, just doggonit perfect!!! Miriya, you have an awesome display that should give you many, many years of satisfaction! That lighting is just...just...what more can I say? Again, congrats miriya & quality work Ron. The two of you have definitely made a winning pair!

  20. That's phenomenal work RON5864!! You should really think about a way of mass producing this item; with mods of course out of respect for miriya's custom. But again, that is really beautiful work, and congrats miriya you lucky so & so . Hurry & take many more pics for us to drool over.
