Would be nice if Bandai put one of these next to a VF-1A for scale so we have a clear answer to this question. We all know the Phoenix is way bigger than a Valkyrie, hopefully Bandai double checked that too.

    Closest I could make it.

I finally got my first printer, which is an Anycubic Photon Mono X (4K "ish"). I just now got it set up, and will be doing a test run of settings to get the best print with various support settings. The first run already came out, but I wasn't happy with how I set up the parts for print (kinda just starting out). I do have some pieces that I can cure and save for building, so that is always a good thing. I hope to have parts ready to go for my first dry fitting.

Did you get a flexible build plate for your printer? For FDM printers, it's less of a hassle than scraping the model off. Might have to print a bracket for the Z end stop though for the change in thickness.

  3. Just an update for the VF-31AX Mirage I ordered with them.  They kept in contact with me from when I placed the order, when Bandai accepted the order from them, notice of delay in release date, arrival of order to them, shipping rates, and finally shipping info with tracking.

    5/9 Item arrived to them.

5/10 they send an email with shipping rates.

5/11 I replied (wasn't paying attention to email) with shipping method (Fedex)

5/12 they sent out item with tracking

5/16 Received item. Outer box was thicker cardboard with paper wrap then bubble wrap. Small ding on outer corner but nothing damaged on the inside.

    I'd order from them again.

  4. Love the Orguss easter egg. That's a huge fire extinguisher. Looks like an older extinguisher where you gotta invert it or a soda acid type. How is the bridge attached to your Prometheus Deck?

Edit: @wm cheng here is the thread where he worked on the Deck:

Not crazy if you take it out for walks. All kidding aside, there was an old prototype of one early on. It was glorious.

The same pic used forever of that prototype. Gonna need to throw in a cupholder attachment:

  6. I wouldn't worry to much either as according to their blog via Google Translate:

There are some minor corrections here as well.

At the time of fighter, the place where the head beam cannon is stuck in the fast pack,

It will be a shape that escapes in parallel to the rear of the aircraft.

Looking at the line art, it seems the person who made the 3D printed kit employed his own solutions to collapse parts of the shoulder, arms and back of legs even more to get around the anime magic for a more accurate Fighter.. It'll be interesting to see how Arcadia does this..

He goes by Tage on the forums here. If he jumps on the forum you could ask him. Here's his thread:

  8. @Tage If your still here, are you gonna get one of these to go with yours?

Edit: Seems T-Rex is involved in this project. Since it's got the supers, why not throw in the variant head and speakers?
