  1. I am a little late joining this forum. Spending half day reading many comments, pictures, news, and opinions from page 1 to 14. I have somethings to say.

    1. Everytime I hear the word "Macross 1/55 Re-Issue", my first impression is that "Where is the VF-1D"? I bet many people would never understand why Takatoku Bandai never release VF-1D since 1982? I bet most of us MUST buy VF-1D if it eventually comes to the market.

    2. There is NO surprise for this re-issue VF-1J, VF-1S, and VF-1A with fast pack. I do not see and do not know what is the exact difference between the re-issue valkyries in 2008 and the re-issue valkyries in 2002? There are few Macross friends mentioned the fast pack comes with the VF-1A looks like the fast pack comes with the re-issue VF-1S Super in 2002.

    3. Many of us hopes Bandai re-issue VE-1, VT-1, and GBP-1S armors. I do NOT understand why they will re-issue them in 2008 but not 2002? IN MY OPINION, the chance for Bandai to re-issue VE-1, VT-1, and GBP-1S armors is 0%.

    4. Most of the serious Macross Robotech collectors are between 30 to 40 years old. We were kids when Macross on the TV in Japan 1982 or Robotech on the TV in US 1985. How many of us have money to buy Macross Robotech toys at that time? What I mean is for most of us, we only do Windows Shopping when we were kids. We saw the toy and the box through the window of the shop. In order for us to refresh our childhood memory, I think we need both the toy and the box. It is something the re-issue can not compare with the original.

I am proud of your collection. Same as you, I use glass shelfs to protect my displayed valkyries.

Based on my experience, do not put any yellowing valkyrie too close with the pristine white valkyrie. Few years later, you will know why.

Please stay away from sun shine and cigarette. They are the killers for your collection.

  3. Wow, very impressive. Thanks showing us your beautiful art work.

    I have 3 questions.

    1. Is it easy to paint on the surface of the resin kit you are selling?

    2. You made them or you purchase them elsewhere?

    3. They fit perfectly to any Macross 1/55 Valkyrie?

    Thanks. :)

  4. No, they are not for sale. I have them dislayed in my smoke free, sun free, dust free display shelf.

I will let you know when I post the pilot and cockpit and other parts for sale on eBay in the future. I will lower the shipping cost for you. :p

  5. Do you need Macross 1/55 Takatoku or 1/55 Bandai parts?

I only have missiles of 1/60 Valkyrie.

Please check out my expired posting.

    Hope it helps you.

Ok, here's what I need. If I don't sell or trade my lot, I'm just hunting to see what odd pieces I can find. I'll accept recasts also.

    1. Leg armor pieces for super/strike. (Desparate!!!!!!!)

    2. Hands

    3. Gunpods.

    4. Heatshields

    5. Canopies.

    6. Decal sheets

    7. Empty boxes

    8. Broken valks/parts of valks.

    9. 1/60 pilots

  6. It is very hard to buy missing piece, especially for vintage item.

Did you buy it from eBay?

If your answer is yes. Did the eBay seller tell you missing part before he sells the VE-1 to you?

If he did not tell you, then he is committing fraud. You can report him to eBay and claim for your loss.

  7. Oops, one thing I forgot to mention. Miriya and I did a happy business 2 weeks ago actually. We both nominate each other to a straight shooters list. I emailed him last night about I am able to give him discount because we did HAPPY business before.

  8. First of all, thanks for all the comments and feedbacks from the Macross World friends. I am happy sharing my comment with you all too.

I am learning 1 thing from my company CEO (Fortune 500 Corporation) is that Please look at the whole picture BEFORE you make a final decision and comment.

Yes, you are right. My shipping cost is higher than normal. However, please consider

    1. My listing price is extremely low with no reserve.

For Your Information: eBay is doing promotion from March 25 to March 30. When you list any item for 99 cents or less, the listing fee is only 1 cent. Do not miss this chance if you have anything available for sale.

    2. My olds records showing you I always pack item carefully and ship item fast.

    3. The items I am selling are not available for sale in the market. It means they are very hard to find.

    4. I am very proud of my eBay rating is 563 at the rating of 99%. I do not take it personal when the 1% unhappy buyer bad mouthing me and nominate me to the black list. I have many things keep me move on and stay happy in my life.

This is the whole picture. Now, it is your choice to make your final decision based on my shipping cost only or based on all the factors.

Smile. Thanks again for all the replies and comments.
