Delivering the monster

Cool, hows the adherence after application? Did you spray any coating on?

Its on and not rubbing off, its etched onto the plastic(enamel paint). I skipped the clear coat I didn't think it needed it.

My Roy, done with Tamiya grey panel line. I used black on the strike/super packs.

That adapter is exactly what I didn't know I wanted. I will be in for some for sure.

Wow the first yamato 0's had shoulder problems, and now Arcadias have hips going out...

I guess the vf-0 is really showing its age.

Where did you get such wonderful decals?

I have a build kit that I want to do a guard on but haven't had any luck with markings.

I don't have much in 1/72. It was between a Catalina or a Lighting, and well this one won.

Not a bad kit quite easily to built, but the stickers holy crap.

Mine just deliverd, so my weekend project is here.

Now I'm just going to have to decide between stickers or decals.

Not a bad guide for top coating.

But one big note is for sticker and decals. You should never try and put decals/stickers on a mat clear coat. Sticker wont stick well and decals wont move or lay well, you want a smooth surface for the decal/sticker bare plastic or high gloss clear coat.

Ive thought about using Duracoat for toy paints. I'm interested to how this works out. have you considered a low temp bake for the paint? like 120 for a hour for curing and hardening? Ive used this stuff on real steel and airsoft before.

Are we expecting much in the way of articulation? To me the hips don't seem to have much clearance in battroid.

couple questions:

1. is there an ETA on a restock of the Alpha bases?

2. I want to do a set up with 3 mac+ valks (Yamato VF-11B, Yamato YF-21, Arcadia YF-19) on one stand, all in fighter mode. are these the right parts or do I need something else:

1x Alpha stand

1x Dual arm

1x Knuckle

2x XL arm

3x YA banking Adapter

1x Arcadia YF-19 flight stand adapter.

Thats just about exactly what I did. FYI I cant get it on one Detolof shelf its taking up two.

Got my Roy in today, and it's missing a piece. but I did get the limited stand even though I placed the order after they started shipping. And given the n-y is the company I went through I have no recourse. Well at least it's not a major piece.

Would a Spacy Kite be possible or are we going to try and avoid licensed logos?
