I pre-ordered the regular through HLJ, but I keep thinking about the PF version. I'm having a hard time understanding what types of fees FromJapan adds on top. Can someone please let me know how much they are tacking onto the 38,280 retail cost of the VF-4?

The story behind these is early Yamato Valkyries came out of the factory with gnarled pins that broke the shoulder hinges. Yamato realized their error and through Macrossworld's own Graham, they arranged for hinges to be given for free to people so they could either replace already broken hinges or do preemptive surgery and replace it before it happened..

The white ones aren't such a big deal, as mentioned they can be purchased on Shapeways and are close enough. But the VF-1D tan and VT-1 yellowish are a lot harder to replace.

With that said, I hope these went to multiple people instead of just one person buying them all.

shoot, I need a set of the tan ones for my original Yamato VF-1D with a broken shoulders. Are you sure we can't negotiate here? Ebay has fees and all

My GBP is a Yamato first release. But I'd GLADLY buy another if it was DYRL style. I'm sure many would double-dip.

Does anyone out there have access to Arcadia to drop the suggestion?

Add me to the list of people that sent this person something that got damaged. Unfortunately, it was the one time  I forgot to insure an item. He said it arrived crushed and he wanted a partial refund. In the ebay claim he said he would upload pics, but he never did. I refused the partial and he shipped the item back at my expense. And sure enough, it looked like someone dropped an anvil on it. I was able to get back a little from the PO for using Priority Mail, but in the end, I lost a lot of money and now I'm stuck with a broken Valkyrie.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before since it's from way back in season 1 of Rick and Morty, but notice anything familiar about the mech-suit legs?

oh ok. I wouldn't be surprised if a Manga War Machine did show up at some point. Bandai teased a Ronin Boba Fett retool of Jango a while back. Not sure if it will actually be released though.

Can someone that has MMC Feral Rex and Unique toys Ordin tell me if they will fit in a Detolf in combined mode? I'd like to get both into one "section". The space between shelves is about 15.5 inches high.

Thanks for the added info RW. Durability is important especially as much as the 3rd parties are charging for these things.

There are quite a few review videos on YouTube of each release so far from both companies. Watching several of those helped me decide on the GT set.

Of course others mileage may vary. But it is nice to have options to choose from.

I've been watching both TW and GT's Devy releases closely. And I've decided to put in my order for the GT version. It's close enough to MP size for me, plus I like the look of the combined mode a lot better then the TW version.

People complain about the extra kibble on the GT set, but it doesn't bother me at all. And I've heard bad things about TW releases as far as quality. Lots of reports of breaking joints. To the point where it appears some retailers won't be carrying it, or any furture TW releases anymore.

I cancelled my preorder as well. This thing looks like it should be sold at Wal-Mart.

I just cancelled my pre-order as well. It was a challenge to break away from the completest drive I usually have when it comes to collecting. But I really don't need another YF-29 nor do I have the room. I already have 4 and I'm selling one of those right now.

As far as I can tell, Bandai never acknowledged the issue at all.

I was wondering, if I were to buy a VF-171 CF brand new with no intention of transforming it, but plan to attach the armored parts in its fighter mode, would I encounter any triangle problems?

While I was rearranging my display case I moved my VF-171 and a piece of one of the triangles just fell off of one side. And the other side is about to do the same thing.

I have NEVER transformed this Valkyrie. So for those of you thinking that staying in fighter mode will help keep this from happening, it won't.

Panel-lined and stickered. A pain in the a$$ to transform, but that's the design. A few paint chips on the lower legs and a small stress mark on both sides of a panel on the bottom.



1/60 Yamato VF-0A - $150

This is the Shin Valkyrie from the gift pack with the Ghost booster. But the Ghost it NOT included. Just the Valk and it's accessories. Panel-lined and partially stickered with after-market stickers. I only transformed it once or twice. Nothing broken.

Finally got an order in! Hopefully it's legit

I've never had such bad luck getting a pre-order in. If I miss release day, I usually end up catching it later at some point. But in this case, I keep missing it over and over. The 3-4am relisting times (my time) aren't helping any!
