Fun episode! I felt the Gundam vibe when Brera faces Alto in virtualspace, with Ranka there as well. What I mean is, there's a scene in the original Gundam series where Amuro Ray faces off with Char Aznable, (with Char's girl Lalah Sune there too) and with their Newtype powers they form a visual, psychic connection. Then Amuro accidentally kills Lalah, and I hope Alto doesn't kill Ranka... though he said he would if he had to. Also, the assault on Reflex Point, er, the Vajra hive. I'll be disappointed if the Frontier fleet fires all its MDE warheads and the Vajra Queen takes off like the Refles did in Mospeada, taking her children to a higher plane of existence, or something.

Pretty clear. Definitely not a surprise they were siblings if you were paying attention. So does that mean the show's creators assume most Japanese viewers weren't? What is the target audience for this show anyway?

Kikuko Inoue is the voice actress (seiyu) for Bell-chan as well... I didn't know either until someone mentioned it in this thread.

Maybe "ランシェ・メイ" is pronounced "Lance Mei" and not Ranshe Mei. Won't know until someone speaks the name, and probably not even then! I'm still confused with all the multiple pronunciations of Mihail/Mikhail/Michel/Michael..

Don't want to comment too much until I see a subbed version or a script, but I did notice one thing- I don't think the show's jumped the shark. If that were so, I would have zero interest in next week's episode. It ain't so!

I think this involves creating a Culture amusement park, complete with a full-scale Macross replica. Sadly, this venture was doomed to failure due to the numerous space-fold faults. The tourists didn't come, and the park was abandoned. Those Zentradi laid off from the park were desperate, until Sheryl's manager Grace contacted them with a business proposal: seize the reaction warheads, create a great fireworks show, and the Culture park might reopen.
