I strongly reccomend to all Metal Gear fans - if you don't want to be spoiled, stay off the internet. There are people going around and posting spoilers in every single Metal Gear-related topic, regardless of the risk of getting banned.

Myebe this man is Bird Human's Director, George Yamamori(ジョージ・山森).
I think he is SK's Virtual characters in Macross F world.
Wow, nice catch! The face shape and jaw seem to match up, but it's hard to tell with that beard.
-
Zero Hour - It wouldn't surprise me if Kawamori explicitly told Yoko Kanno to base this song off of a certain 80's film featuring the F-14 Tomcat.
Alto's Theme - This song takes me back to the really good old days of Wolf's Rain
Tally Ho! - Go! Aquarion!

This episode was ok. I was a bit peeved by Starbuck now finding it convenient to invoke military protocol.
I imagine that recent events have shocked her system a little. Still, you're right, that's very out-of-character for her to actually behave herself.

Gar is anime-speak.
Same thing. Many of the people who use Internet language are also anime fans. It's no coincidence that 4chan and Internet speak tend to go together.

Romo seems to have reacted rather... strangely... to Jake the Dog. Perhaps the head-beings are visiting him and taking the form of animals?
Also: Was he purposely trying to build up Lee some more, or was he really gonna shoot?

What I want to know is why Grace brought that up about his sister? I suspect it was more to rattle Michael. Is she an agent for Galaxy? Was it her that was spying on the Frontier meeting?
Grace is eeeeeeeevil, man, eeeeeevil. She's the one who keeps on hacking the website that Ranka's agent said he tried to put up, obviously. I guess she also thought she could break up the S.M.S. and cause them to fail to find out the truth, whatever that is.
For me, the questions are now:
- Are Grace and Leon in cahoots?
- Were the Vajra originally found in a derelict run by this guy?: http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/Space_Jockey-Kubricks.jpg
- Or, were the Vajra created by modern-day folks?
- How come Brera and co. want to breed the Vajra?
-
Alto: "You can be my wingman anytime, Michel!"
If it wasn't for that not-so-manly moment, this episode would have been 101% perfect. Instead, it's only 100% perfect. It's episodes like this that keep me watching and keep the series from dipping into yet another anime.
Also, I predict the following happening in a future episode:
Leon: "Use short, controlled bursts."
Ozma: "What are we supposed to fight the vajra with, harsh language?"
Alto: "Back away from my Ranka you bitch!"
Luca: "Game over man, game over!"
-
DARN!!! Never realized that.
Nice catch.
So does this mean:
Ranka = Myung

Alto = Isamu

Sheryl = Guld

Actually, I think it's:
Alto = Myung - passively waiting around and doing his own thing, but just happens to be the object of desire
Ranka = Guld - a lot more quiet than her rival, and has a natural Zentraedi battle instinct that acts up with all issues relating to Alto
Sheryl = Isamu - absolutely nuts, hasn't been thrown in jail yet because she's good at what she does
This is also hinted at through their hair colors.

of getting ranka?

Yeah man, look at the way they were holding hands and stuff!
-
What did Leon mean when he said V-TYPE INFECTION? Why were the Dulfim crew members quarantined...?

The Vajra are xenomorphs. Ranka has a chestburster stuck in her.
On a more serious note, I don't expect that we'll find until maybe the next action episode, which seems to be a fair bit away.
-
I imagine that a possible future scene with Sheryl might go something like this...
"I'm Sheryl Norme, bitch!"
"Hey Alto! What did the five fingers say to the face?"
"Flying is one hell of a drug!"
-
He can't take Sheryl, she's the final Cylon.
Apparently, it's standard practice for Cylons to beat up every guy they want to do it with - whether it's jumping on top of the guy and bashing his face in so he can achieve "clarity," or kicking him in the shins and kidnapping him so you can hang out at the mall.
Although, I think it's much more likely that Ranka is a Cylon, since a part of her body glows when she's feeling great passion for someone else.

Now that I can actually see what's going on, I noticed that Mr. Brle's ring and Brera Sterne's hairclip appear to be made of the same purple stuff as Sheryl's earrings.
-
New torrents always need some time to warm up if there hasn't been any preseeding / IRC distribution. Luckily, BitTorrent is well-designed.
-
Could it be... Bera Sterne is the leader of a band of nature-loving pacifists who are trying to destroy all mechanical weapons? There's always at least one of those guys in every SK-directed series.
-
When Sheryl started singing her final song and the Macross Quarter started bustin' out some moves
, I started thinking, "Gotai shoutai fumai no shooooooow tiiiiiiiime...."
What's next?
Will Bera Sterne start singing to Alto and telling him about the beautiful times they had together 12k years ago?

TRIPLE HOLY CRAP!!!!
The commercials for the PMCs in the game have been revealed!
-
The NUNS are the Terrans, the Vajra are the Zerg, so what kinds of funky energy-based technology will the Anti-UN have?
-
Holy crap this episode got the plot moving! Oddly enough, the hybrid seemed a lot more relaxed after she stopped seeing the meaning of life and stuff.
The preview for the next episode indicates that the writers remembered who Hera is! Question is, which blonde female is Hera thinking about?
-
Mr. Brle has a third eye - definitely not a coincidence with all the indian mythology going on. It's only a matter of time before we see something called "Siddhartha" or "Vishnu."
-
Dang Ranka has some catching up to do! The chemistry between Alto and Sheryl got really serious in this episode, now that Alto's started hanging Sheryl's earring in his cockpit and stuff. Most people don't do that until
after they've hit the sack. Also, in the preview, we can see Mr. Brle's head a lot more clearly - could he be a Protoculture survivor in disguise? -
so is this the kid of one of you guys??
That kid's dancing is amazingly accurate!

I just knew Nene had to be the one with the pink hair.

It's like a law of anime, man. Just like how the character named "Nanase" has to have big ones.

The war between Sheryl and Ranka is going to get violent sooner or later. After Sheryl got all up on Alto again, Ranka was all like "Aw hell naw" and got really serious and determined, like her life depended on her kiss scene.
