Not much to go with at the moment, though I wouldn't be surprised if Davis Films, the company that produced the Resident Evil and Silent Hill movies, is involved... all these movies were distributed by Sony, too.

OMG you're right!
That is SO sad...

B-movie ahoy!
God is that what Lui Kang is reduced to? (Robyn Shou).
Actually that was Colin Chou, who plays Seraph in the Matrix sequels.
Then again... you could have said that after he appeared in Beverly Hills Ninja.

I dunno about the Power Glove. Having to suspend your whole arm while playing the game... not very ergonomic.
While we're on YouTube videos, check this one out:

LOL@ Top Gun.
Check out the Power Glove one, Top Gun re-appears there.

Who needs a CTU mole when you got Powers Boothe pulling that weasel Lennox's strings!
He made Van Damme's Sudden Death more watchable than it really should, LOL.

Probably most everybody has seen it by now, but Jack Bauer's brother is that bald nerdy guy who was behind that cartel of businesses/industries backing the Logan presidency last season!!!
When Joel Sernow and company were doing last season, I wonder if they knew all along that this mysterious guy would turn out to be Jack Bauer's own brother?Besides Jack's wife and daughter, the show has never elaborated about the rest of Jack's family, until now.
They said that they were going to have a plot thread involving Jack's brother in the audio commentary of the season 5 DVD but scratched it because there was just no room for that to develop with all the other subplots going on.
I wonder if that kid is Jack's...

Well i don't know much about the lord of rings world, cause i have not read the books, I've only seen the movies, and its the movies that gives me the impression of what i've said earlier. To me anyway it does seem like every one is ganging up on the western peoples human, elves.......etc. I'm just thinking if Sauron is such threat to the whole of mankind, how come no one else puts up much of a fight except for the humans of the west (where are the dwarfs?). How come people from other areas not come to assist. Instead we have humans helping Sauron which like i said before, the movie makes it look as though the threat is only directed towards the west of middle earth.
The movie is a very truncated version of the books. In the original books there were a lot of localized wars, as part of Sauron's strategic plans to isolate the free races and prevent them from banding together to fight Sauron as a unified force.
The last movie also cut out a major plot thread where forces from different parts of Middle Earth converge in Minas Tirith to help the sieged city and eventually push the fight to the Black Gate. The movie made it look like the Rohirrim were the only ones who came to the rescue.

Wow, lagfest in the areas surrounding Thrallmar.

I knew Curtis' days were numbered when the opening credits in episode one said 'Guest' starring Roger Cross.
Just picked up the DVD of S6 ep1-4... they just threw the thing together, no subtitles/closed captioning, no commentary or any other special features except for the first 12 minutes of episode 5. You also get a $10-off coupon for season 1-6 of 24 DVD box, however.
The actress who plays Chloe does her worst acting in episode 5... same 'stressed nerd' monotone mode when she was supposed to have a near breakdown about Curtis' death.

Anyone else think of "The Lost Boys" when Jack made his move at the end of the first hour?

I was thinking Hannibal Lecter... pass around the fava beans and Chianti, will ya?

Probably because it's a press release from Fox. AICN has an actual phone interview with Cameron up until the Malibu fire put an interrupt to the conversation.

Oh please...someone take Rocky behind the woodshed and put him out of his misery...
There hasn't been a good Rocky movie since the third one. And I can't even remember the last good Stallone movie.
Copland was pretty decent.

The bots look and feel way too ID4 to me. Some of the CGI, while not totally fake-looking, still appear too generic-looking. I was hoping they'd raise the ante on photorealism more.

I thought Nintendo was positioning their console as a pure gaming machine and decided to ditch DVD playback cos 'it had nothing to do with gaming', then comes this piece of news:
http://www.sonic.com/about/press/news/2006/11/nintendo.aspx
Nintendo Selects Sonic to Enable DVD Functionality in Future Version of Wii ConsoleSonic CinePlayer CE DVD Navigator Helps Deliver Ultimate Movie Viewing to New-Generation Gaming Console
NOVATO, California (November 8, 2006) - Sonic Solutions® (NASDAQ: SNIC), the leader in digital media software, today announced that Nintendo, the worldwide innovator in the creation of interactive entertainment, has chosen Sonic® CinePlayer® CE DVD Navigator to bring high-quality DVD movie viewing to a future version of the company's Wii™ gaming console. Nintendo plans to release this version of Wii in the latter half of 2007.
Based on the same technology trusted by Hollywood studios, CinePlayer CE DVD Navigator is a robust, software-based DVD playback engine that delivers broad playback compatibility on a variety of platforms. The proven technology offers exceptional picture quality and supports all standard video and audio formats offered in the DVD specification, as well as advanced functions such as anamorphic widescreen video, motion menus, and multiple video angles. "To be involved in Nintendo’s ground-breaking gaming console is extremely gratifying and a testament to the efficiency, flexibility and dependability of Sonic's technology," said Jim Taylor, senior vice president and general manager of Sonic's Advanced Technology Group. "Game consoles represent a fresh market and platform where we can introduce a new audience of potentially millions to the quality of our brand and the power of our digital media applications."
According to a recent report by new media research firm Centris (http://www.centris.com/index.htm), DVD playback device penetration continues to grow. The total number of DVD playback-capable households grew to 91 million in April 2006, which represents an 8% increase over the previous year. Adding to this figure was an increase in DVD-enabled game units which grew 11% year over year to approximately 45 million.
Created by Sonic's Advanced Technology Group, CinePlayer CE DVD Navigator is part of the company’s growing portfolio of technologies that are being licensed to enable CD and DVD playback, as well as DVD recording and authoring. Sonic’s technologies are licensed by leading technology companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, and Scientific Atlanta and used to enable digital media experiences in a wide variety of markets including consumer electronics, PCs, kiosks, automotive entertainment systems, and music download services. In addition to standard-DVD, Sonic recently introduced comprehensive support for emerging high-definition formats, Blu-Ray Disc (BD) and HD DVD.

Is this the first time a console became obsolete before it even hit the shelves?!

Quick.
Someone's childhood is being anally raped at this very moment!

Must. Buy. Valk that can shoot laser and fire out of every part of its body except for the ass!

Looks like we're gonna get some filler stuff with BlueTooth's family... and who is Phillip Bauer? Jack's dad?

I try to find groups without a 'lock, or with warlocks who have dreadmist or better...but like I said, it isn't that easy.
It's just for fun, but man, it's getting tedious.
Form your own group - that's what I did. You should have a rather long/full friend list by the time you hit 60.

I did not realize marine training includes wrestling moves.

I was expecting to see a list of theme songs instead of the series they came from. Most shows have multiple theme songs.

Patlabor is created by Headgear:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patlabor
Patlabor usually refers to the anime franchise known as "Mobile Police Patlabor" (機動è¦å¯Ÿãƒ‘トレイãƒãƒ¼; KidÅ Keisatsu Patoreibaa) , which was originally created by Headgear.Mamoru Oshii is part of Headgear:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headgear_%28artist_group%29
Headgear is a group consisting of 5 writers and artists who work in the Japanese anime/manga field. The group was set up so that all the creators could retain full copyright to their work, achieve greater publicity for their work and sell their manga to anime sponsors for film production. The members are Masami Yuki, Yutaka Izubuchi, Kazunori ItÅ, Akemi Takada and Mamoru Oshii. Together they worked on the anime series Patlabor and the two episode OVA Twilight Q.So how is it not his creation?

Picked up my box last week. The supplement disc for P2 is definitely much better than the one for the first movie. Extensive interview footage with Mamoru Oshii where he discusses what went through his head while making the film, instead of only superficial, random snippets from the production staff that was on P1's supplement disc.
The movie is much better than I remembered - perhaps due to the fact that I have seen all the OVA and TV episodes that came before P2 this time around - interestingly, soundtrack re-recording for P2 was done before P1... I wonder if it'd have turned out differently had they re-worked the soundtrack chronologically instead.
It's a shame Oshii did not revist his creation and direct the 3rd Patlabor movie.
MGS movie confirmed
in Anime or Science Fiction

Just hire Kurt Russel (though he's a Warner man) and CG out his age like they did in X3.
