If the CDs are still in print, you should still be able to find them online at www.CdJapan.co.jp and Amazon.co.jp.

Official Gundam Plamodel Thread

Hahaha, I thought I was all alone. What made you stop if you don't mind me asking? If they giving all their future releases the same level of detail and loving attention like the MG Acguy then I'd not stop, but right now the gem/crap ratio is literally 1/1,000... 333678 Any other examples of gems apart from the MG Acguy that you know of? 333708 Dom and Gelgoog were both outstanding for the time when they were released. -
Apparently they are now liquidating the DVDs as well. Last week I saw a truckload of Bandai R1 DVDs on sale for like 6 bucks each - MS Gundam, Wing, G Gundam... pretty much any release that's more than 2 years old are getting the blowout treatment. Added: the store in question was Fry's.

Key word being 'should'. While the manufacturers sing praise of the lasting quality of these optical discs, I already have some CDs in my collection displaying syndromes of laser rot within 10 years of purchase. I wouldn't be surprised to see the same thing in my DVD collection within a few years. All the low prices on DVDs gotta have something to do with relaxed QA standards, in fact I've noticed a rising frequency in bum discs I got as new releases.

Is the gatling gun crooked? It doesn't look like a straightline from the shield to the gun barrels. -

Even the box is a ripoff of the 1/100 HG V2 Gundam... too original! -
Except the primary reason games went from carts to CDs was the lowered cost and better response time to demand, which translates to higher profit for the publishers. They can always make a game multi-disc if space runs out. I don't see multi-disc games being a deterrent to the millions who bought games like Final Fantasy VII. Game developers who whine about lack of disc space are just making excuses for rushing a half-baked product out of the door.

The potential is there, but it really comes down to how developers will emphasize on ergonomics. Take the Mario game for example. Back in the old days all it takes is a simple button press to make Mario jump. Now you're supposed to flick your wrist. Imagine doing that for a few hours straight while having to keep your controller's sensor pointed at the TV. No chance of slumping in your chair in a very comfortable position or moving yourself around. I see carpal tunnel syndrom and sore joints written all over the controller after seeing that demo video. Most games involve repetitive type of input no matter how varied developer try to make it with combos and what not. You are still limited to a set of commands. It'll be funny when people start throwing the controllers all over the place by accident and break their windows and other fragile home fixtures.

Iron Maiden has many songs inspired by sci-fi, books, and history. For example, To Tame a Land off their Piece of Mind album is based on Dune. -

If he sounds that bad, ship him off to a boarding school and then military academy. -
Wow, an oldass Snake. Looks like a big bird Kojima just flipped at all the whiners who hated having to play Raiden in MGS2.

Anime is still being made for the same age group, for the same reasons - pushing merchandise. Us as an audience has matured in taste, it's the same reason most people found the new trilogy weak compared to the original trilogy of Star Wars.
