When I watched Macross Plus for the first time 7,8 years ago. It was my real first anime.

These ads were unique to Australia as far as I know. They are truly terrible, written and produced by people who have no idea what the show was about.

Here's a theory. If TRIAL SYSTEM is able to control any gundam/mobile suit connected to Veda, and assuming that to use GN Drives there will be a hidden link with Veda.....I can see a Scholenberg "JUST AS PLANNED" moment when he activates the TRIAL SYSTEM and controls ALL the MS in the world to destroy Earth, the true aim of Celestial Being.

Anyway, I kind of agree with that sentiment. I'd like a story arc where the Frontier fleet happens upon a derelict Megaroad 01 which has no life on it but a recording left by Hikaru and Misa that told what happened and how it ended. Tell a whole story in flashbacks that way.

It will be a great way to officially end the story without seeing them. Like that, everyone will be happy : the fans knowing what happened to Hikaru, Misa and Minmay and the Kawamori not forcing to show them on screen.

In the same way, i love gundam (especially uc) but couldn't care less about mobile suits. I would prefer those series with less fight and more dialog/character interactions. (0080 is my favorite gundam).

Gundam Seed is all about that.
