Also there could be the problem of pilots not being able to handle something as powerful as the 19. I'm sure they ironed out a lot of problems before it went into production, but don't forget that they lost a LOT of test pilots to the YF-19. It wouldn't be Max and Mirias flying the VF-19 cannon fodders, it would be standard pilots.

That makes a lot of sense for me. The number of crappy and normal pilots (the poor ones in the Macross Frontier's first episode for example) outnumbered for sure the brilliant ones. So why spending such money on state of the art variable fighters like the VF-19/22 when UN Spacy surely knows that a majority of its pilots cannot handle such babies ? Only brilliant pilots like Dyson can.

So logically,

Crappy and normal pilots (the majority) get : VF-11, VF-171

Brilliant pilots (the minority) get : VF-19, VF-22, VF-25

EXACTLY!!!

Unfortunately, it won't happen since Japaneses don't have the "me, myself and I" culture we have in the west. Naming things to honor a person is not a japanese thing.

Piloting the Throne Zwei from the Thrones, Ali is strong enough to treat Setsuna as his plaything. In the heat of the battle, the 4 Meisters recieve some new gifts. The price they pay for it was indeed an equivalent trade. Setsuna randevous with the Ptolemaios and return to space with the Fleets of the Powers under the UN hot on their trail. And now the Warriors from Powers and CBs makes their wills for a final confrontation

Ep 24 :-

The Powers form an alliance under the UN Flag. Their weapons, the 30 GN-X. A gift they recieve from a mysterious party, powered by the same GN Drives as the Thrones. And thus they are able to stand up to the Gundams. With a pilot such as Soma Peries, the GN-X out perform the Gundams. Outmatched by the GN-X, The Meisters are now forced into a corner, battered. But still they fight on. In their Twilight hours, the fires of Setsuna, Allelujah, Tieria and even Lockon's kept on shining bright in the darkness.

Ep 25 :-

Lifeforce dissipate in the midst of Space with Ships sinking and MS Exploding. Towards the end of the battle, Setsuna, in an attempt to prove his faith to the world, makes a final desperate attack.

I got the RT and Macross histories somewhat combined.

In RT the UN Wars ended with the crash, while in Macross they began.

Actually, it's UN Wars in Macross and Global War in Robo..., Robo..., Robo..., ... Sorry, but it seems that I cannot write or say crappy word.

My prediction? When Sara and Shin were whisked away at the end of Zero, they went through a time warp to 2058 that also somehow managed to fuse them together into a single hermaphroditic being...who promptly named him/herself "Sheryl" and started singing.

Yeah, makes sense. I guess the time warp was caused by the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E while travelling back in time to stop Borg from assimilating Macross Frontier ...
