So far yes. But we are dreaming of a brighter future. Not that the 1S, 1J and 1A are not great, because they are but wouldn't it be nice to have a revoltech Vf-4, Regult, Quedluun Rau, Yf-19, Vf-1D, Minmay Guard, Bretai, Gloval, and anything else that you could dream up?
Hehe, hopefully that's the lineup in the near future, hey they come up every 15th, so why not, right!?
How come there's so many defects on these guys, missing hand, 2 left feet....? And what is this upside down foot now? Were they sealed when you guys bought them? I am very worried mine will be like that if I buy 'em online... -
Isn't there only the 1S and the IJ and maybe a 1A somewhere?
-
Just got back from Frank & Son and got 1J and 1S for $18 a pop, very happy with the figs. Only thing is the 1J has two right feet, any one here wanna trade if you got two left feet? PM me. I was surprised that you can attach the gunpod to the arms/arm FP by removing the grip, so nifty.

$18 each Only?? That's cheap!! Good for you! Anyone knows of such good prices here in Toronto? I'll be sooooo interested, pls post or PM me, thanks

Btw, can it be returned /exchanged 'cause it's a defect? How close by do you live from it? Maybe you can pick up an extra set or two and share with us perhaps?

Does anyone know how much these little goodies are in HK?

PS2 Macross

I got my swap disc today. CD boots up but it isn't reading the DVD one. I looked at the disc and took a picture. Does this look like a defective disc to you too?Have you tried reading it with your PC's DVD-RW? If it reads it fine there, I was thinking to do a Disc Copy onto a new DVD and try, not sure if it'll work but worth a shot, I guess

I suggest you check out MW's list of Macross console games. There a multiple games that use the DYRL name even though they're not always the same game.http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/games/...t_homevideo.htm
WOW there's a whole page for that??? Thanks, let me check it out/

Ok I have a semi-related question, do ALL Japanese PS2s play Japanese PS2 games fine, doesn't matter when it's manufactured? Does it play any other games at all?
Or what other good Japanese PS2 games are there? Gundam perhaps?

dont know if they are still available, but this MW seller has a bunch of Doyusha's for sale:
Thanks Jermey, I just PM'ed him now, hope he still has those.
-
I may have a set of Mission 2 to sell. I'll get back to you.
Cool, lmk

ALSO looking for DOYUSHA 1/144 Diecasts

I don't believe either use a consistent scale which is why I call 'em "oddball'. Kaiyodo pissed me off, all the joints were stuck together on the supposedly poseable ones and if you tried to crack them free you'd usually just tear the rubbery plastic. Bandai had less interesting pieces but they're far less prone to breaking.
I see, the scale itself doesn't really matter to me that much, I just thought that the Bandais are a bit smaller than the Kaiyado, that's all. And 1/200 is smaller than 1/144.... so which of the Bandai and Kaiyado is bigger again?
-
The Kaiyodo ones are around 1/200 scale and I highly recommend them... they are alot of fun, especially the Destroid Tomahawk and Regult and GBP-1... I'd still like to pick up the enemy figs from the Bandai lines, but can never find them.
Oh the Kaiyodo are 1/200? Then what scales are those Bandais? I thought the Kaiyodo are bigger than the Bandais?
-
1st Mission was their worst, they get better. I'm afraid I'm not selling my gashapons at the moment... I honestly wouldn't even know where in storage they are. Good luck! Glad you like the site -
Starting the 3rd mission now
No kidding, your site is awesome with all those reviews! You must have dedicated one whole room for that many toys at your home!! Maybe I should try getting the Kaiyodo Series.... let me finish up reading first I guess.
EDIT: Just finished up reading the reviews. Very informative and thorough! Thank you
I am just glancing through the Kaiyodo review right now... that Regult is something else, isn't it!? The rest looks to be a lot more detailed (but even lower score in some cases than the Bandai?) How much about are these Kaiyodo sets? What scale are they anyways? 1/100 perhaps? So anynone have them for sale, please come forward, still

-
Thanks Max, let me read it up, so you do own all three then? You don't really plan on selling them, do you?

Holy cow, that's your website? Incredible!! So much details, so many reviews!
Very very nice! Btw. let me get back to reading the reviews. Just finished the 1st mission one, doesn't look too promising...
-
Does anyone have those on sale? I was looking for the Chara-Works one and then bumped into these ones when googling around. They seem nice too. Anyone has any opinions on those even if you don't plan on selling yours?
ALSO looking for DOYUSHA 1/144 Diecasts
(is there any way to modify the subject title to reflect this as well? Note sure if I should just open another thread? )Thanks

In Dynasty Warriors Gundam, you can play the Official Mode with Kamille and the Zeta Gundam from the first time you play the game. Beating Official Mode with Kamille will unlock him in Original Mode. Eventually, you'll unlock Roux, who also pilots the Zeta Gundam.
Oh, and yeah, it's a much better game than Crossfire.
Maybe I should dig up the game and replay it using Kamille, I finished with Amuro then Char and most missions are the same.... Are Kamille's different? Haven't played it for so long, which Mode is the TV mode again?
For the Crossfire game, I actually didn't really mind it, it has some pretty nice missions and some are kinda hard, for me anyways
except maybe the graphics can be a bit better.I was hoping to be able to play the Macross PS2 game on my PS3 too and actually almost bought it. Sony sucks!!
There is a Macross game for PS3, maybe a Japanese version, is there any in the works that you guys know of?

MG Gundam Unicorn for me!

-
Great news! But why 3 am??? Cheapest time slot they could get? Or because most macross fans are night owls?
I am guessing Both? Macross fans will wait up to watch it, no matter what time it is, so might as well air it at the cheapest timeslot?
Would be great if someone can post it here or perhaps a Youtube link

I did a google search for this and have been looking at many sites and been seeing pretty much the same answer.... seems like unfortunately the PS3 here really can't play import/ Japanese PS1 or PS2 games, because those are region locked. However it will play PS3 games from anywhere because none of the PS3 games are region locked..... Sigh...... anyone knows how to make PS3 region free please enlighten me

It's not a toy but why isn't there any Water Slider decals available for 1/72, 1/60 or 1/48's? Stickers are so thick and not sticking well at all.
