  1. I used to provide recast metal 1/72 Hasegawa Macross VF-1 pilots but have ran out for some times now.

Oh man! You did it? Wow, ever gonna be back in production?

You can get 1/72 Hasegawa Macross VF-1 pilots from the 1/72 macross weapon set

Really? How many is in a kit? Do they look all right?

  2. True...true......Pacific Mall has a few kits and it's a much better bet than anime extreme or Kikiwai downtown. Kikiwai still carries a few 1/60 yamatos though. Kurame at PM is really the only other place.........

Dragon hobby is by no means the cat's meow...but it might be worth a call - he is close to me at Gerrard and Broadview - I know he has 2 or 3 southern cross armor kits ( the body suits) but he may know where some old stock is.

    Gabe

Gerrard and Broadview is way out of my reach unfortunately.... I live 20 mins north and east of PMall... Chinatown btw had nothing much and the prices at Animextreme are not good at all, place is small and jammed with stuff but some prices are even higher than PMall! I checked its Revoltech 1J and 1S, they are selling for $38 there, I can't remember the exact price at Kurame but it was a few bucks less and lot closer. Kikiwai store is practically empty, not that things are cheap, far from it, the 1/60 VF-1A I think (that's what it was) was selling for $130-140. Well at least I didn't go down there specifially that time....

  3. picture of the cake? i might be interested in getting that for my bday =)..

.... I rather get what is in Avatar for my Birthday :p but the SDF-1 cake for sure is a must for a Macross-style wedding! I guess the bride and groom will be wearing a blue and a green wig on have the hair dyed??

  4. Anyone have a good location for macross purchases in Montreal?

Will be there for the holidays and hoping to find at least one good shop.

    Cheers

    G.

Are you from Toronto or Montreal? Your Avatar says Toronto, where I am... anyways, do you know of where I can buy Macross kits, especially the older Hasegawa VF-1 (s) Battroid or fighters? Kurame at PMall only has a few Macross Zero kits...

    Thanks

  5. DAMN GUYS!!!! I started this thread to say how much I loved the Macross SDF TV Series. I do not care who does and does not like Robotech. I think everyone is entitled to their own opion but do it somewhere else. Start a thread or something. Just don't use mine to bash and all that s***! There....nuff said.

No kidding!!! I was looking at one of the post saying how sad the last Episodes were when Misa came to see Hikaru and when I hit F5 by mistake, all I see is this crap about Robotech this and that, why it is better or worse! I thought I was in the wrong thread!! Plus this thread is about "how much I loved the Macross SDF TV Series" nothing else. Please don't thread crap! DAMN!!

By the way I LOVE MACROSS, that's why I am here, that's why I joined this site!

  6. I think they look quite nice too, and they even "throw in" the waterslides for such small toys!! How come we are stuck with ugly and thick stickers for Yamatos, at least for the 1/60, not sure about the 1/48's since I don't own and can't afford them...

  7. I have 5 of these on the way. I can't wait till they get here. I think I am going to have a "Pose Off".

When did you place the order? I like to get a few too, not sure how long it will take.

  8. A BIG HUGE THANK YOU to Valkyrie13, great MW member, even a better person!! Items were extremely well-packaged and Valkyrie13 was excellent in following up and paid great attention to details unlike my previous purchasing experience from another MW member who happened to be on the SSL who put no stuffing, no bubblewrap and just shoved 6 boxes of Valks into a Dell computer box and on top of that I had one broken backpack (you know who you are!!), ... but that's another story.

I am surprised not to see Valkyrie13's name on the SSL yet or is it there!? THANK YOU once again!! :)

  9. If you take your time you can make the Bandai's look decent.

Here's one I did of a modified VF-1D with fastpacks. I threw in a comparison shot of it next to a VT-1 Ostrich from Hasegawa as well.

I don't think it was mentioned here but the Bandai's are fully transformable (with the swapout of a few parts) and the Hase's aren't. With Hasegawa if you want to display multiple modes of the same fighter you have to buy separate kits, and they don't make a Gerwalk, that requires the bashing of two kits together (fighter and battroid).

... the Bandai 1D does look nice!! Does the FP come with it? I've seen Hasegawa's weapon set but don't think it has the FP included with it.. A question about the Bandai, are they ALL transformable? And in what way is Hasegawa harder to build?

  10. You can forget the 2 ;) "Nexx" is my old account ^_^

You can sometime see it on ebay, there was a vf1D last month...

Your kit look better than mine, congratulation :) I have choose metalic color : th_2583d_maqunexxy.JPG

Those kits look nice! So I gather Hawesagawa are nicer but more difficult to build, is it because of more pieces or smaller pieces or why is it? I am just afraid though if I were to buy Bandai, they would look old and not poseable?

Btw, I saw that Ichiban has a YF-21 on sale, I was looking for someone that has multiple kits, so I pay only one shipping fee, hehe.

  11. Just wondering what are the difference between Bandai and Hasegawa Macross 1/72 kits? Are those like ancient? How's the quality and poseablility?

Oh and does anyone have either for sale? Looking for mainly Strike/ super Valks (not fighter, unless transformable) and YF-21 fighter also.

    Thanks
