I am in the process of building the 1/72 armored batteroid, you know the resin kit that you usee with the Hasegawa kit?? Anyway I am looking at this kit and I am loving how beefy and tannk-like the VF looks with all this armor on...but then, you look at that little GU-11, and it just really looks so plain a little next to all that armor. So I was thinking of beefing up the gun, maybe adding some sensor greebles, maybe scratch building a launcher that mounts to the bottom, I am thinking of the grenade launcher that mounts to the bottom of a M-4 or M-16 something along those lines.

I know it is not cannon but I thin it would look pretty cool...what do you all think?

it doesnt matter if its cannon or not, if it looks cool and you want to do it, then do it

ive seen grey toys turn a nasty shade of yellow. UV light affects all plastic toys.

im paranoid when it comes to yellowing. I keep my display cabinet in a room without windows and keep the light off at all times when im not in the room.

even though that pic is fake, it makes me want a hikaru 1S even more.

i agree, a hikaru 1S would rock. This is probably much further down the line though...i assume kaiyodo will not release 4 macross revoltechs, for the most part back to back.

mine is rock solid in fighter mode, but real shakey in battroid.

me too... I cant tell you how excited i am to get my revoltech strike 1S! I will be buying several of these.

all i have are Convoy, Revy, VF-1J hikaru, Ultra Magnus and the Patlabor Ingram. I preordered my Roy Strike and i see that overseas sellers have thier shipments in so that should arrive soon.

holy sweet crap...i take it you are a revoltech fan...i only have 5...6 as soon as i get the 1S strike.

as cool as they are, there just are not enough figures that i like enough to buy.

just remember to remain calm while transforming it...they have been known to break.

Nope, no movie Prime yet. Still waiting for a G1 repaint. And if that never comes--I haven't seen the regular one since June. He is the hardest to find TF after 2009 BB. (I've even started seeing Barricade again lately)

definatly start on a cheaper model first...so if you screw up you dont feel as bad.

when it comes to painting definatly use an airbrush...the results are 110% better than not using one.

if available, use Mr. Color paints.

i think Sqidd said his is arriving monday and he will do a review then.
