Ohhhhhh Yeeaahhhh! Just got mine today from HLJ via SAL. They shipped on 7/21 and I received it today 7/31. Not too bad of a wait. A little bummed about their packaging. The outer box was banged up a bit and caused some stress marks on the toy box The toy itself looks flawless!! I haven't transformed her yet though... 1/48 stealth in awe of V.2 1/60 goodness...

Not sure if it was TSINC99. The guy that sold it to me did not have a store name up, but he did give me a business card. It said Taostoys. I forgot from where. Mine seemed fine--no evidence of prior handling of the toy. They could have done a good job of cleaning it up though. The tape seals seemed ok. I still love it!

Overall, I like it. I just think that his legs/thighs could be a little more beefier. I don't mind it's calves. Just the thighs--where there's red cloth...

I scaled it down quite a bit (~4 MB from over 200MB) I asked a Toynami rep about the release date and he said "Probably around spring 2009" Take it for what it's worth. Price TBD. It will be interesting to see how fast/long it takes to get to me. I recently ordered a 1/48 Stealth from them and EMS was the only option. EMS was super fast. I had the Valk in 2 days from the day they shipped it! I'm in California.

Thanks! I figured I needed something to compare the new 1/60 VF-1S to when it arrives. 20 more years til I retire. Then I can collect like crazy. For now, a valk here and a valk there. I have a lot of catching up to do. Then again, there's always overtime!

I finally joined the 1/48 family today!!! Ordered from HLJ. So far I've noticed one QC issue, the seat in the cockpit was not glued in straight, ugh!!!! Is there an easy way to pull the seat out and reglue it?

Just got my packs! Thanks again Valk Ex! I assembled/attached a movie set to a VF-1A. Overall, it looks good. I just can't seem to get the backpack to fold completely. It's causing the cannon/pack to be angled up away from the fighter's top. Anyone else experience this? Maybe my VF-1A is jacked up? The bacpack on the max(?) VF-1 that I have looks ok w/o the fast packs. I haven't tried them on this one yet...
