The little plastic hinge, behind the head, that connects to the back pack just came off my 1/48.

Any suggestions on what to do now? I can get it back on, barely, but it certainly won't support the backpack at all.

Right on....thanks for the link so I did not have to do a search. That is pretty sweet looking. That is a good question you raise though......why has Yamato not released a CF version of GBP armor or SS parts?

I wish I could just find a 1/48 CF in stock somewhere!

Jetfire! I got one when it first came out, when I was 7-8 years old, and was amazed how awesome it was compared to the other TFers toys. Eventually my mother started renting the "Robotech" tapes from the local supermarket and here I was as a kid trying to understand why this other company was using the same exact design as the character I knew as "Skyfire"!

We used to keep all of my toys on our back porch, which was screened in. Back then I guess most didn't care about resell value or collectibility. Anyway, somone must have snuck onto our porch and stole my Jetfire one day! I had loads of He-Man/Gi-Joe/Transformers/Go-Bots/WWF stuff out there but someone obviously went for and only took Jetfire. This bugs me to this day as it must have been someone I was friends with who knew I had it. Apparently I wasn't the only one who loved that toy! They even went through all of my stuff and took the parts that came with it!

I'm definitely planning to buy another one eventually ... someday.

Your guess is as good as mine, but I certainly HOPE that the new VF-1S Focker will have all the fixes of the previous versions. I have one pre-ordered. It'll be my first 1/48 Yamato, and I sincerely hope it's better than the 1/60 VF-0S, which has all the structural integrity of a toy made out of eggshells.

I also preordered the VF-1S and it is going to be my first 1/48 Yamato as well! I want the 0S rerelease but I'm scared away by most of the comments made about the line so far, in general. I'm going to wait that purchase out a little longer.

Hello I'm new here! I just wanted to begin by thanking Graham and company for this forum! It has been a great source of information for a Yamato newbie like myself. I'll echo some of the questions others have posted!!!

1. 1/48 Paint schemes. Any chance in the future of a VF-1D, "TV accurate" VF-1S, M. Guard, the missing VF-1A colors, Alaska Base Colors?

2. 1/48 Ostrich and Elintseeker ... please!!!!

3. Seeing how they just rereleased M&M Supers, do they plan any other rereleases soon?

4. Will we see 1/60 reactive armor for the VF-0S?
