I hope my order goes through at Luna Park. I had it sitting in my cart for a while. It processed.. fingers crossed 🤞 I haven't made a big single purchase for a collectible in a while. I almost didn't buy it. Gonna have to sell some of my Yamatos soon.

Are they a reliable source? I have never ordered from these type of places before. Thanks in advance. And if paid by PayPal, it would be safe if they don't come through with the item, as far as refunds?

I just watched an episode of Anime Manga Explosion on NHK. They featured Shoji Kawamori, and Kunio Okawara. I wish they had more on the original VF1, but was a good watch.

My package arrived in time for Xmas. First one I was able to get out of the 5 other pre-order release madness. 

So excited. My Roy is out for delivery..... Just in time for Xmas. Out of all 5 releases... I was able to get this one. Now to see if I can get that VF-1D......

I have one of Rob Beers GBP. It's a mix matched colored one. The plan was to paint it..... Never happened. Not sure if it is reinforced though...

I am in the same boat as you. I would like at least 1 of the releases, just to have one. But I am not willing to pay those crazy prices.

I am hoping I got mine from HLJ. Of all of the releases.... Crossing my fingers this one comes through. The others I got as far as payment. Then glitches, then shows the "order stop status" in my cart.... If it shows up in my warehouse, does that mean it went through??? I haven't ordered anything from them in a long while.

Yeah with the super parts some of tabs don't lock like in naked mode.  But the v2 (I think, Macross gurus jump in here) added the tabs that the yammie 1/48 didn't have, which made the v2 feel really solid and not a floppy mess like many 1/48 yammie.  I'd suggest watching @jenius videos for transformation steps to get the parts in the position so they don't flop.  I think that's the reason my 1/48 and v2 are still pretty solid.  Do you mean the regular stand or the yammie DYRL stand?  I have both and I only use the DYRL stand for temporary display because it has balance problems.  

Thank you. I am using the Yamato stand. It has been on there for the last few years.

Yeah...too bad I don't care too much for the TV max color scheme. But I do have the TV max in 1/60 V2.  I wanted the Hikaru J, or the Hikaru S. Maybe I'll try for the Roy S.

My v2 are still in good shape, and my 1/48 is not floppy, although I don't play with it as much as others do with theirs.  The DX has got most of the tabs that lock in from the v2, but the size is the 1/48.  And some metal parts, but a crappy swing joint that separates.

As another mentioned, AJ had some good prices.  The 1S isn't likely to have prices like the 1a.

 

Maybe I'm not displaying it right? Cause with the super parts on, it doesn't seem to lock into place?  So once I had it set up in fighter mode on the stand. I haven't touched it in years. Still debating on selling my 48's....

Um... to each his own. I love my 1/60 V2's. But maybe i'm just jealous that I didn't get any of these Bandai releases. Cause my Yamato 1/48 is a sloppy mess. I hate it. I just love their size. 

And I am not paying the inflated prices for these. So I guess I'm SOL.

They did. AMT made a 1/48 scale one. I built one back in the day, along with the Blue Thunder.
