I recommend a little known author by the name of Michael Marshall Smith... he's done 3 sc-fi books that are among my all time favourates. His style is dark and witty and usually mixes fantasy with sci-fi. I cant praise "spares" and "only forward" highly enough! "one of us" is also brilliant! seriously, you wont be dissapointed.

the arms of the 1/60 are bent more at teh elbow than the 1/48 making them look shorter, and the shoulder itself is angled upwards like on vf-0, so if that shoulder joint was at the normal angle, and the elbows were not bent, the arms would be a good bit longer... trick of the pose

something definitlely amiss there.... with the shoulders angled upwards like that, it would make the arms too long it they hung down straight. look and the comparison between the 1/48 and 1/60 arms... the 1/60 lloks like its gonna have gorilla syndrome. But the knees scult is looking way better IMHO.

I'd pay good money for a Bandai PG (yes i know its gundam!....) styled Valk.. any valk would do! just a really large, transforming, hyper detailed, removable covers (to see mechanisms) model/toy. Why was something like this attempted for the 25th anniversary? think about it.. a 1/32 PG VF-1!!!! how hands up who wouldn't buy one... (cue tumbleweed rolling past)

Have to say.. i was too... hadn't seen anything since Mac Zero but after watching Planetes almost by accident (which is absolutely brilliant by the way... watch it Graham!) i went on to watch Eureka seven which is also really good... although i am way more selective about the anime i watch these days... there just seems to be soo much "meh" out there.
