Alrighty there Mr vermillion01, I read one of your past posts and you mentioned owning/running some sort of design company and that you enjoyed your "models" because of the design aspects, etc. I feel the same way and I think we enjoy them for the same reasons. So here is the question. What looks better? The VF-0S ghost in gerwalk or fighter mode?

I think they are both beyond outstanding! But I will only be buying one and I can't decide how I want to display it. I am leaning toward gerwalk a little bit.....and I am not a huge gerwalk fan, which means I realy, realy like it. Ohhhh I'm so cofused!

I'm a bit 'on the fence' there my self... as a lover of aircraft in general, a lot of my stuff is displayed in fighter mode, but I agree that the VF-0's are stunning in gerwalk mode (personally, I think they have the best gerwalk of all valks). The solution? Get one of each! I have a VF-0S with the ghost booster displayed in gerwalk mode and a VF-0A (standard... love the missles that come with the standard version) in fighter mode as the low-vis markings make it look more like a contempary fighter. Nice. In an ideal world I would have 3 or so of each version for displaying in all modes... hmmm... need to break out the card again.

I gotta wait till I'm done with SDFM.....but it's killing me, I saw a clip and the animation is "orgasmic!"

Yup the animation is seccond to none (in the macross world). The first time you see the VF-0S transform.... well... all i'll say is that I was stood in a puddle afterwards.

Kinda... but the names were not changes to protect the innocent.....

Both the VF-0A and VF-0S appear with ghost boosters in the last episode Macross Zero (seen leaving the carrier before the final battle)...

Funny, I think the track VF-0 from the Mac0 soundtrack is waaay too similar to Starship Troopers the movie, there wa another track that escapes me right now that sounded a lot like something else too....

I know what you mean. I have just redecorated part of my house, the other part got put on hold when I recently rediscovered my Mecha fetish...(saw robotech box sets really cheap then got Macross too). Now my bathroom is bits, my bedroom has waaay too many shelves and i have loadsa empty boxes that need a home! (just got a payrise so that aint gonna help)

Isamu wasnt in the audience for that concert... that was Eden... so that means we need another 1/60 Yf-19 in that diorama..
