I dont remember hearing about 1/55 recasts. Where can i find these fine items?

I'm afraid there are no 'cheap' accessories for the 1/55's.. The VF-1S reissue (the same series as yours) had a pack with the fast packs (see the review link i posted in the other thread a while back), but thats it until you get into the realm of Takas. These puppies are expensive. Why? Because they're the daddies of macross. Check out http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/takatoku.htm to see what there was.. I dont think the old GBP and fast packs fit on the reissues anyway, nut i could be wrong on that one. Your best bet is to find someone that is willing to part with reissue FP's.. good luck....

Hey Graham, with all the board traffic on the 25th Anniversary Valks, the YF-21, and the 'nora', we could do with a new toy to shout about... the threads for the above mentioned are getting huge, and starting to talk more about repaints... Can we have some juicy gossip please? pretty please? a tidbit of a clue to whats on the horizon? come on.... Yamato must be have some pretty big ideas for stuff to coincide with the release (or scheduled) of Macross F. Throw us a bone here so we can start salivating / arguing over something new...

But we can get the joyride Viper's quite cheap.. I bought 3 for £2.99 each about a year ago. But the U.K. generally sucks for things like this.

You would'nt happen to know if there are copies of the original english dub of Laputa around? Thats the one i grew up with and i think the voices are waaay better.

I seem to remember a thread or post with somebody making a lot of recast 1/48 and some 1/60 parts including the torso side panels in different colours. Could someone please direct me back to this (if it still exists) because i cant see it in any of the toys threads. I would really like some 1/48 Max & Milia torso covers for the new set.... anyone.....? anyone.....? bueller.......... buelller.............. edit-(sorry mods.. probably doesnt need a thread, but i've asked in other threads.. and something this handy needs to be pinned)

they will be up for some abuse, as for pose well.. I think the jury's still out on that one. They are not all that pretty due to coloured plastic they are made of (i dont think much of the Mac7 designs anyway), but if you like to customise, they can be just the ticket.

These are okay as far as cheap knock off copies go.. i have both and although not as good as the original Bandai's they are good for customizing if you pick them up cheap. I'd not pay more than $40 for both shipped, so if you're around that mark, you did ok. WOOHOO!!! I just nailed both for $350 shipped!!! Yeehaw!!! does anyone know if these are to be a limited release? Stock levels suggest that they may be somewhat limited as they are a 'deluxe set' and everywhere seems to be having problems getting them or is this just me having 'new toy syndrome'?

I looked into a vmax but to be fair it was a bit pricey and too pretty to cut up. Project is on indefinate hold. (you are serious by the way?)

Well Mr March, i'm beaming from ear to ear at the knowledge that you are still loving it and have caught up with the rest of us.. you've obviously been hammering the BSG! Now you know what we were referring to the 'bellyflop' of Exodus part 2 and the sad ending.. its like losing a freind. Incredible stuff! S3 does slow to a crawl in the middle but it picks up again in the last 4-5 episodes.. i remember going like "where are the cylons? they gonna hit them any moment now.. Looks like theres not much choice out there for us 'non modellers'.. damnit.. i can paint, i can glue, but ask me to make and paint a model and it all goes t*ts up!!! I'll keep my eyes peeled as usual, and if I find any decent ready mades, you'll all be the first to know.

Anyone managed to source a Boomerand SQ baseball cap? tried looking at the yahoo japan (damn thats hard to navigate when u cant translate pages) and amazon.jp with no luck.
