  1. This is terrible news about the Beagle armors I was so pumped up to finally have a nice Houqet and Blowsuperior after all these years. I've already bought a couple extra toynami mpcs, so I can potentially mod them into the other two. Its hard to look at those nearly complete proto pics of the Houqet, and know it'll probably never be released. I've already taken apart one Rand figure, and will convert him to Lancer, the cloth is the only thing I'm not sure about. I hate to say it, but I guess I should've seen it coming.
  2. sqidd the back left armor is an Imai 1/15 non-transforming model kit. The CMs are the 2 smaller ones up front, and the rest are the MegaHs. My fav. is definitely the MH Blowsuperior at least after some modifications. I am looking forward to the Beagle, it looks awesome as hell, the boots are on the small side tho. It looks great in bike mode!! If you're mostly concerned with the ride armor, I would go for MH for sure. As far as prices go, I don't think any of them are worth quite the asking price, but being a Mospeada fan, you can't be too picky, not exactly the most popular series out there. Add in the fact, ride armors are my fav mecha of all time, it really has to suck, for me not to buy it.
  3. Thanks, I'm a lineart freak(kinda), it had to be done. I'm surprised MH didn't do something similar, the Chest missile bays are so high, you almost lose sight of the head That reminds me, the head on mine is pushed on enough to stay but is not pressed all the way down, to help look a little more accurate.
  4. I should probably buy some clear type of stand, that would have a better effect, I guess. Thats the 1st pose I knew I wanted when I got these suckers.
  5. I usually just lurk, figured I'd throw up a couple pics. The more the merrier right? fifbeat, I don't think the head can fit in armor mode, because the hair is fairly long, at least a head length, in the back. The tires are kinda shiny, I guess you could possibly paint over with a flat clear enamel or something. I do believe the chin guard wasn't bothered with for that reason, the visor closes where it should, unlike Rey and Stick's. I just went for the standard pose In this mode, I took Yellow's shoulder pads off, so the ride armor shoulder piece would sit down a little further. I also drilled new holes in the rider forearm armor, so in armor mode the front wheel armor would be further up on the arm. I also cut 2 square notches in the bottom of the chest armor, so they would sit a little further down, looks a little more line art accurate IMO. Here's a pic where I cut. Now I just need to get a Beagle and a MH Houqet and I'll be set.
  6. Wow!! You guys got some awesome stuff goin on there. Damn!! You guys have inspired me to try to make a Houquet/Rook Rider figure for the cyclone in my avatar. Do you guys, or anyone else have any suggestions on a figure I could use to base it off of. Are revoltech joints able to be bought, or do you salvage them from figures you have Alex? The bike in my avatar is also the 1/12 Imai. so the figure would have to be in line with that, any help would be appreciated. Keep up the good work guys, I cant wait to see these guys finished!!
  7. HaHa!! No, Thats a modified Imai 1/12 kit I put together several years back. It pissed me off that all we ever got was Stick and Rey bikes, so I made my own of Houqet's bike. It doesn't transform, its fixed. I never really finished it though, because I wanted to make a bazooka to attach to the right side.
  8. Wow!!! Thanks for the info, I'm probably gonna have to give a left and a right arm for this thing!! Its not gonna be cheap.
  9. Has it been stated as to what scale the Beagle is? 1/12 ? It looks pretty beefy. The artbook in the background is 10" tall.
  10. Wow, thats impressive!!! Man the bike looks so good. Does anyone one know whether they have plans for the other ride armors? Wow
  11. I found that pic in the link Eriku supplied. I've been lurking here for years, especially anything Mospeada related, huge fan of the show and mecha. Its a damn shame it transforms like that, fighter mode would look sweet. I really want to get one of these, there are so many things wrong with them though, that have been done better many years ago. How do things get worse instead of being improved upon? Strange.
  12. I really like the way these look in Battroid mode, other than the intakes being too small. I like the vibrant colors they've used also. Its too bad those knees stick out like that in fighter mode tho. In this pic you can see how the leg transforms into itself You can see how the knee is a curved piece, that lets the upper leg kinda swivel into the lower half. Theres no way that can compare to all previous Alpha toys and models with the telescoping legs. Sadly I think the Fighter pics are not mis-transformed
